12:00 My memories of being a kid getting an injection, yes, it's not pleasant, but the anticipation is far worse than the injection itself. I would rather they just do it and get it over with, rather than trying to talk me into it. Talking to her for an hour before, that is just inhumane. The least painful injection I ever had was when a nurse came in and told me she was going to show me a magic trick, could read my mind. She had my think about a number between one and 100 so I did. She said I had to concentrate harder so I closed my eyes and concentrated as hard as I could. Then she said "13" which wasn't even close, but when I opened my eyes, she was putting the needle into the "sharps" container. Reading my mind wasn't the magic trick. It was giving me an injection without my even feeling it. Best magic trick ever.

The sound balance is a bit off. The narration needs to be louder, and the music quieter.

Poor Siobhan. A shot in the arm muscle or just under the skin stings, but it goes away quick. An injection into a bigger muscle like the thigh or a joint like the knee is really painful. I feel really sorry for the poor girl.

My brother and I both had, that hip issue and we both have metal pins in our hips. I had my surgery when I was 12, my brothers they caught earlier because my parents knew symptoms.

My daughter had a slipped epiphysis (called a slipped capital epiphyseal fracture by her doctor) when she was 13, 93lbs and less than 5 feet tall. Her doctor said it was more common in overweight teenage boys and it was strange that she she got it.

narrator needs to be louder plz fix this issue. I turned on the captions for the narrations but that was worse because the words don't match what the narrator says.

one day I woke up and I was happy and for some reason I have a toy bin beside me so I grapped it and started to walk down the hallway and I just stepped out of my room and I just collapsed on the floor and started to cry so we had to go to exrays and my dad was called to carry me and I spent 5 days in hospital and this is a more resent story and it changed my life forever so I have a itch on my belly so we went to go and see a doctor and they said have you down her fingerprick and my mum said no so we done it and it was 20.4 so they said go straight to hospital and I spent 10/11 days in hospital learning how to do needles and do my finger pricks and it took them 7 try's to get a needle in my arm in the same spot and I was only 8 now I'm ten

OK, kids are scared of needles and the thigh is probably a very uncomfortable place to have an injection but did Siobhan REALLY need TWO play therapists JUST for an injection????? -_-
@Trekki2007 жыл бұрын
Caitlin Pearce the point is to put this much effort in it the first few times, so that after that the injections go without issue. She has to get those regularly for the rest of her live(and childhood) after all. and The alternative is to have her screaming an fighting every time, which takes time from the doctors giving the injections.

Oh come on injection kid. It was only a little needle. Doesn't hurt that much to have an injection don't be such a baby. Once that kid has had 5 if not less she won't scream over nothing anymore. I have had that many needles that now I just don't even flynch. Only thing I say ouch too is when they cut your finger with that finger prick thing that checks your blood sugar. I never complain with little injections.
@grace246907 жыл бұрын
Danielle Dewitt Just because your are so manly, doesn't mean everyone else has to be. "Don't ne such a baby?" She's only 11, leave her alone. Not every one is as manly and as unfazable as you.
