There's a recently published hack of SMB that changes the game to the Hudsonsoft SMB levels, and even tries to emulate the colour scheme of the PC-88. It also implements all of the rare items like the wing. It also doesn't suffer from the terrible controls and scrolling of the PC-88 version, lol. Overall a great game. I'd call it video-worthy too, @LadyDecade, unless you already covered it and I somehow missed it

I think I'm one of the few people that own three of the titles that you covered. Mario Bros Special Sharp X-1, All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros Famicom Disc System & Super Mario Bros Special PC-8801. My copy of Super Mario Bros Special is unfortunately missing the instruction manual. I listed it on eBay if anyone is interested. So far no takers.
