It's amazing that this car has been neglected and besides the paint being gone, causing the body rust, is still as solid as it is. This Starliner has the potential to be a really cool car. Keep up the good work!

Ya I'm really surprised that it's just the lower quarters that are gone. Sadly the frame is a bit rotten but hopefully we can fix it. Can't wait to build this one. And thank you:)

Thank you so much. Ya I'm really happy how clean it is. The music I used is just capcuts audio library.

292 or 352 in those if they're original, of course the ultra rare 360hp 352 "Special" would be the dream find. Beautiful cars, well worth saving
@Tannerrebuilds2 ай бұрын
Ya this red one a 233 inline 6. Green one is probably a swapped engine. Blue one original 352 2 barrel. The purple had a non factory 427
@Kevin.W.2 ай бұрын
@Tannerrebuilds If that's an actual 427, and is rebuildable, it's worth gold

Check out Cold War Motors up in Edmonton, Canada. He rebuilds cars of any make from this era. I'd love for him to get his hands on a '60 Starliner to go with his GM and Mopar cars. And here you are with half a dozen of them! 35 years ago I was in the US and had a local friend with a '60 Edsel wagon we did a couple of road trips in.

As someone lucky enough to live in the Southwest, I could not imagine even contemplating resurrecting such pathetic rust buckets.
@Tannerrebuilds2 ай бұрын
Pathetic lol. I don't think so. It's history and it's Value and rarity says it's not junk. Well that's your opinion and I respect it.

I had one of those back in the seventies wish I would have kept it I thought it we didn't know what engine was in it 352 dial new wanted it so bad look up the engine in it well we pulled the engine out to see what we could do with it turn down it was a 406 engine never mind story to rebuild a 4/28 for him well he disappeared in the car disappeared later on I found it sitting in the junkyard what a shame that was a big mistake selling it to that idiot
@Tannerrebuilds2 ай бұрын
That is a sad story. Kinda like my grandpas with his 63 split window corvette. He had one but been drafted in 68 and it got stolen. He has the title still but hasn't found the car yet. I hope one day you will find one again
@rickprusak93262 ай бұрын
Hey Tanner, don't put the water wand so darn close to the body. The rust is so bad hiding under the paint 🎨 you might actually blow a hole through the body, and wash away the quarter panel or door skin. 😂 You got enough work to do by itself. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. 😮 The car is saying: "Clean me and Restore me" not: "Powerwash kill me". 😅
@Tannerrebuilds2 ай бұрын
Powerwash kill 😂. Never thought of it. Ya I should of been more careful. I'm actually surprised of how good shape it's in. Needs new floor but they sell those.
@rickprusak93262 ай бұрын
Use a sander or sand blaster to remove the paint and rust. Not the Binford 850 Turbo Power Washer. That water gun will power wash the metal off to the frame. 😢 Do a frame off restoration the right way. Not the swishy wishy-washy way. 😂
@Tannerrebuilds2 ай бұрын
🤣🤣 ya I guess I forgot that it could do that. Ya the frame needs work so it will get a frame off restoration
@rickprusak93262 ай бұрын
Hey Dude, open the trunk lid and fill it with water and see where the rust holes are inside. 😂
