Funny how the engines on an A340-300 look barely up to the job, but on say a KC-135R they look huge.

...was war das für`n Start !? - zu erst eine unheimlich lange "rotate-Phase" (Hauptfahrwerk "schleift ewig auf der Bahn) und dann der Steigflug sehr steil mit deutlichem "Flügelwippen" - welches entsteht, wenn man kurz`n "stall" ist.

- hab das jetzt mal im Flusi nachprobiert. Den selben Effekt hatte dann, wenn der Flieger falsch getrimmt war. Um überhaupt abzuheben mußte der Elevator deutlich länger (auf Steigen) gezogen werden. Dadurch paßte dann in der Steigrate aber auch nicht der Flugwiderstand und die Geschwindigkeit war zu langsam.

And soon after arriving back at Berlin it flew to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to perform a flight for TUI, and when it arrived at the gate it crashed into the jetbridge with one of the engines, which resulted in it being stationary at AMS for a few days x) oops
