England absolutely dominated that series and should've won it easily. One bad session in Jamaica in the 1st Test cost us the series. Those pitches were too flat aswell, not good for Cricket

I was here on the first and last days. first day was boring, last we were hoping to be just as boring because WI were leading the series 1-0 and just needed a draw to win the series. it didn't exactly turn out like, as nothing does in WI cricket lol. but this team, led by chris gayle, had the potential to do truly great things if they had been allowed to stay together. they had already accomplished feats WI teams had not done in ages: first WI team in 13 years to not lose in NZ, first WI team to win the wisden trophy in 11 years, first WI team ever to win a test in SA. It is tragic beyond words that the WICB at that point went full retard, but it seems to be in their nature

What should have been the 2nd test at the Sir Vivian Richards stadium in Antigua, ended up being abandoned due to the poor surface that affected the bowlers run up. The match was moved to the old Antigua Recreation ground and started to two days later. It was scheduled to be four tests but the abandoned test match was counted as a test match despite not being completed. Hence the reason the series is described as a 5 test series

There were 4 tests. But the 2nd test was cancelled after a few overs due to poor outfield. So they added an extra test.
