My fav hard to find 90's subaru parts are first gen legacy ground effects by STI(pretty much anything for the first gen legacy for that matter, like foglights for the turbo), and the STI sports bumper for the gc8 as seen on Bunta's impreza. I love all the unique parts that Subaru made for their turbo models, and occasionally you'll find other niche stuff like the Tommy Kaira m20b wagon top spoiler, as well as Mine's gc8 parts.

That’s incredible. Subaru has some of my favourite brochures. The level of detail on each individual model and what extras they offered is really impressive. @@JDMArchives I don't think I'll ever get away from subarus lol. I have a 93 gf4 wagon that I'm doing an ez30 swap on (eventually), and a USDM 92 Legacy 2.2 Turbo. I'll oppose your D-Ranking of the Koala baby seat because honestly it's not about how practical these things are, the roof scoop has NO practical purpose, yet its extremely cool. If i saw a Supra at a car show with that specific Koala-chan babyseat in the back it would be the most memorable Supra i'd even see, especially if it came with the knowledge it was made for the Supra and not just some random Koala themed babyseat, its just too Japanese and too 1990s to not be epic.

Wait, how come is that Tommy Kaira m30z only 25k usd? Is it completely clapped out / not running? Even if it was, isn't it still ultra rare and worthy of love? Here in Europe a "regular" twin turbo manual z would go for 25k euro, NA automatics are like 15k for a clean one. Do Japanese people just not appreciate their own cars or something?
@JDMArchives2 ай бұрын
I think it’s a combination of factors. Not many people know about the Tommykaira cars beyond the Skylines, It looks tired and the Japanese Yen exchange rate is really cheap right now. Put all those factors together and it becomes a hard car to sell. I personally love it, a true unicorn.
