Jordison was “the” drummer that really paved the way for a new generation of metal drummers. He was fast, creative, had stage presence, and was just fun to watch. He was not the best drummer of the world because there is no “best drummer” in the world, only favorites. But this man right here is a legend, he took Slipknot on a whole other level, sadly, his own brothers tossed him aside. Long live Joy Jordison!

And became sorta close the last year and half 2 years of his life ... 😢 Him and his gf were amazing people .. gave me a signed stick and took one of my bands T shirts he was such a great dude.. hate that he's gone , I would message him all the time and just ask him random slipknot related and drum questions like random little behind the scenes so niche and obscure like you couldn't imagine like what grey pedals was he using on the cut scene on disastarpiece DVD pre show warm up with the Zebra chuck Taylors on! Cause he used tama iron cobras live for the show but this was a different random pedal he was using with the iron Cobra beaters on ..I always wanted to know .. things like that I'd ask! Stuff that without him you'd never get the answers to...(And fyi it was an old CAMCO pedal 2 singles of course he said he LOVED so much a vintage one , one of his favorite ever , and if i ever see one for sale to pick it up immediately I won't be disappointed! ) He was the absolute best and it's still surreal and amazing I got to meet and befriend my idol and the reason I got into drumming at all! I'll never forget that as long as I live !!!
