Good book, I think I read it on Kindle unlimited or did I buy it, I’m going to have to look now. I bought it, along with Spike and chain by Charles Gruzanski.

02:29 If the author speaks a latin derived language, then he might have meant "chain" where he wrote "current".

I'm reminded of the fake ninja books by Ashida Kim. I'm not sure what I should have thought about them when I was a kid, but now as an adult I realize how easily suckered I was into these things. I remember seeing a book of his about the "Forbidden Techniques of the Ninja" how devastating these attacks were supposed to be, then I started taking a martial art and compared it to the methods in a Taekwondo manual, I realized what was "demonstrated" in that book was nothing special. I'd like to see that book again just to critique it a lot better since I've had some learning. I'm not an expert in the martial arts, but I'd probably find the methods taught to military special forces more lethal.

So you’re not an expert in martial arts, but you feel at liberty to distantly insult a long time martial arts practitioner like Ashida Kim? Mr Antony Cummins, the world’s leading authority on these historical matters, has even said that “Ashida Kim is best”. Why do you call the books “fake”? kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXbSkJile6-Mr9Esi=5SFBfemlqSrAo-iI

None of the images made sense to me. A bunch of balls in a circle with arrows...what?!? Dinosaur who? And a naked old dude in his underwear with chicken pox??? I think I'll just read Antony's ninja books if it's all the same to you guys.

Interesting book, certainly. Not without its problems. I've read it, and I absolutely wouldn't put it in the Ninja Library. Samurai? Sure. Ninja? No. 👍👍

I noticed a Vajra when you were going through the book, do you know if they are connected with the Ninja. In my Ninja days with Hayes, Brin Morgan did a training course, showing how to use one in combat. He also said that you channel positive energy into them, and use at later date.

No there is no connection beyond their religious one

This is unrelated, but I can't remember if I asked: Was the "rivalry" between Iga and Koga fictional?

It was not like it is in manga. And they often married between each other
