And although they grew up as kids in New Haven, CT, they weren't performing until they were well-ensconced in Downey, CA. What else is wrong about this profile of one of pop music's greatest duos? IMO therr are only two great singers of all time. Karen and Sinatra. Her voice was amazing and spanned a large vocal range. That she died at a young age meant we lost years of future singing. Oh, what I would give to have her back again. Richard was a musical genius. It is odd that Ticket to Ride by the Beetles became such a hit when Richard did the arrangement and Karen sang. The critics saying,the pair was boring are way off base.

Karen didnt find out after being married that Tom Burris was infertile from a vasectomy. She knew this weeks before but pressure from her mother forced her to go ahead with it.
