It does exist, Bungie just expects us to do between 30 and 50 breach runs before we ever find the god-damn thing. Also its just continued on like this in act 2 where once again the rare 400g Radiolite samples (This time called Golden and Azure) are near impossible to find in a normal amount of 'farming' time. I havnt seen hide nor hair of either one after already doing a ton of Breach runs and the new activity battlegrounds echoes (expert). I am not a fan of these new 'Episodes' which are really just more seasons sprinkled with Bungie manipulation. I am so sick of coming up empty run after run after run on these rare 400g samples (I'm even running out of Hammer Charges!)

Try to deposit 1kg worth, which requires multiple runs. Same amount of rewards plus bonus. Cursor over the deposit bay in your map.

100% gotta do this with a team, after the first encounter, when ive been trying to find the planetary piston, 9 times out of 10, my teammates will jump through the portal, or go too the next location which gives you "joining allies" and teleports you away... which can be incredibly annoying since a LARGE amount of players are just trying to speed run this activity and they dont care about collecting samples

I've done a billion breach runs, picked up a billion radiolite samples, where the hell is the 400g rare Iridescent radiolite piece? This is absurd and should not be this difficult. I found the other 2 rare ones no problem........Oh and im out of Hammer Charges and had to rely on random teammates the last 2 runs. But hey at least I know the F'n thing actually exists now by seeing it in your video.

I'm just missing the iridescent rare sample. I'm glad of the changes Bungie are making next week as it's rough doing it with randoms at the moment. I have found doing it on expert, the randoms seem more keen to hunt for the pods.

Might be worth mentioning the new sample quest added this week rewards a mod that makes guaranteed irriidescent drops (still RNG rarity as far as ive seen) from the final chest too.

They say you should hold about 1000 radiolite before.dunking. don't dunk every time.

Can confirm that you want to hold them to 1000 before dunking. Got 2 exotics and 15 enhancement cores by doing it. And dunking twice at the helm.

When my teammate collects a legendary sample, the triumph doesn't unlock for me. It's only based on the samples that you gather directly.

hard to get a lot of testing done because all the randos keep rushing thru the downtime. ive used a hammer and been pulled to the fight after 1 harvest a few times. but that said, i feel like the bonus spawn rotate through the colors and if you get the timing right you can get the kind you want. but idk. needs more testing.

I just run the harder difficulty Solo... You don't have to do the 2 encounters!! You can just start them and hide in a place that won't teleport you into the action and wait them out, and farm away!! Dealing with rando's who loved to rush started to piss me off...

@@rhymanoserous yes technically if u finish your runs I can see on braytech the triumph for killing each of the breach executable bosses. I added them all up to see how many full runs I did. I definitely had a few halfway runs however. For battlegrounds I haven’t checked braytech yet to see if there’s something that tracks those runs but I’ve been leaving out halfway to save time and most likely will have no idea how many attempts the new samples will take me.

@@Pip-is-real2022 I literally have thousands of hours, probably 10s of thousands of hours in Destiny over the last 10 years. I think I have earned a bit of a right to criticize how they seem to often make farming not fun.
