5:08 I think I saw a video by Minecraft a while back how the trial chambers aren’t just something you can go inside with no building blocks and how in some areas of the chambers it’s vaguely telling you to use your blocks. Here I guess it’s telling you to complete the ladder yourself by crafting ladders 5:45 OMG ITS WORSE

I guess it's called --Trial-- chambers for reasons. Players are encouraged to interact and engage instead of it just being another "Oh look cool structure I can just kill all the mobs, loot, leave and forget!"

I found a trial chamber that had at the bottom of a staircase perfectly attached to a old school zombie spawner. Then I found another old school spider spawner just around the corner from the same room.

they could do a structure update. And add new rooms for ALL structures. Maybe add hidden library and potion brew room chances to igloos to show how they figured the cure over time. Maybe show an allay holding emeralds being hit by XP bottles in a gold cage in the mansion. Hint how they make totems. Maybe add a random wither skull room under the well at an abandoned village to give reason why everyone turned zombie. A pyramid with a shaft that goes all the way down to like -40 and a beacon pile, missing the beacon. witch hut with A hidden blast furnace room with cookies in it? More traps and hidden door rooms in jungle temple. Hidden tooms in ocean monuments maybe hinting at Warden lore.

I good way would be every open would require 2× the keys prior so 1 then 2 then 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048. It would allow at least 12 per vault and show how dedicated you actually are while allowing you to keep world size down some

Nope, otherwise we wouldn't be able to get many things from them, because if vaults are renewable, then they are farmable, and so they can't have diamonds or enchanted golden apples, which were designed to forever stay non-renewable.

@@ultrafun2227 the reason why I think they should be is now they're adding on new rooms to them, but if you already opened all the vaults there's no reason to go back. So if they continue adding things to them you either have to start new worlds or start venturing out to find new ones, which increases your save data, and renders more chunks. When you render in new chunks then you have to go even further when more new updates come out to find new stuff they're adding increasing your save data or increasing the need to start new worlds after new updates, which is constantly making it harder to keep the same worlds.

​@@jameswesten2018 given the way Minecraft is coded, console players will only ever have two options: increase the size of your world by exploring more, or start a new world. If you can edit the save, you can remove chunks you don't use outside your normal play area, which will allow you to generate new terrain and structures. However, I believe that the design philosophy of Minecraft is largely incompatible with keeping old worlds small.

I found four of the encounters and the spiked stair trap; and I checked dozens of Trial Chambers and only a few of them had the Encounters! I'd like it if Mojang made the Encounters just a little more common

I like that this is putting the Tricky in Tricky Trials, but given how rare they are and the fact that I already have all the trial chamber items I want or will probably need, I don't think I'll ever be seeing one of these.

A good way to find one is using cartographers as they can sell you a map to the trial chambers

it's pretty funny how they've been hyperfixating on this one structure for a whole year. i wonder if the desire to make it so good comes from it being important in the future (like maybe its importance will be akin to the stronghold)? very peculiar. also i wonder if maybe we're getting a structure update soon? it'd be sad if they gave so much attention to the Trails and then just left everything else in neglect

The broken ladders are such an annoying way to get players to use blocks imo. Ladder mechanics are hard enough to deal with as-is; we don't need more problems while under attack from skeletons that have a faster cooldown on Bedrock already. Let's just stick with that two block gap they showed off in the official video, which requires 1 of any block and won't get you killed while placing it.

I would love more trial chamber like things with rewards similar to the mace but for other tools. What makes minecraft boring to me is that its so easy to get max gear but its just extremely tedious, but it just feels like theres nothing really worth doing after you get max gear. What I want to see is a reason to *not* get things if you dont want them because they are hard to get. That way you feel accomplished once you get something and have more options to do things rather than just the same old break block place block.

Trial Chambers is taking it to a new level. Well, woodland mansion.... But that's always been "optional". They tried with Allys. Use a wind jump to get out? Yes please. Am I the only one who never used the stairs? I always just fell. Looks like I better watch my step. Oooo, I like the other generated structures. Yes. This is yes.

I don't understand how an average player, let alone new players will find the trial chambers fun in survival. I die quickly. I lose all my armor. I lose my bow. I lose my sword. I can't go into these trial chambers with armor or weapons that are secondary without almost immediately getting killed by skeletons and zombies. And losing armor and weapons. It's just. not fun. I work hard. to get my armor enchanted to my tools. and to go into a trial chamber and lose them, just makes me angry. if you play on easy or creative sure some new features are cool but it takes to long to get enchanted armor strong enough to battle the mobs and traps to just get killed and not be able to get my stuff back.
