i grew up in a small german town called Lahr. There was a canadian air force base until the end of the 90s. All the people there miss the canadian people. I remember when i used to cycle thru the "canadian part" of the town with my bike as a kid and everybody was friendly and polite. It was like a kind of a small trip to another continent. This song reminds me of the nice canadian people which lived here. Love this song.

In France, there is a street in a small town west of Ruoen, in Normandy, which is named Rue des Canadiens - Street of the Canadians. That's because in 1944, shortly after D-Day, Canadian troops fought a major battle with German troops for control of a railway junction there. Some years ago, we stayed for several days at a villa on that street, and the owner told us that when she was a child, the Canadian dead were temporarily buried in the yard around her house - where we were staying. The French in this area have never forgotten who came to their rescue, and they love Canadians! No one there hates Canadians, or Americans.

I am so proud to live in rural Canada, you know the people, you grew up with the people, you spend time with the people, and you grow not just a community but a sense of family. I've never been outside Canada, but I'm pretty darn sure this nation is one of the best. Canada has anything you could ever want, we have the city life, we have skyscrapers, we have bars, we have parties, and we have the country life, we have forests and rivers and oceans and canyons and mountains, and more camping resorts than a nation needs. Sure, we don't have Hollywood or all around sunny skies, but those are things that make Canada so great and so unique. Love ya Canada!

I am an immigrant as well, a lot of people would say that this is not Canada and they might be right however people should also own a map and look how big Canada is. At one point do agree that not entire Canada can be presented in one song however what people tend to miss is the kindness, family, respect and tradition and that is exactly what this song was aiming at. After all 99% of people should read a book "for example" instead spend endless hours on internet.

We're not perfect, but we exist! For such a big country, we are pretty quiet when you consider a world view. I'm visiting New Zealand at the moment, and you hear tonnes about the States, but very little about us Canucks.

I live on the west coast. It's like living in a postcard. I moved here in '92 and I have never taken a sunset here for granted. It's just that beautiful. There are no people on Earth like Canadians and if you haven't been here yet you really need to come visit. Canadians will restore your faith in Humanity. ^_^" [ And maybe make a Hockey fan out of you. ~.^ ]

What a great song and video. I love the Canadian ethos of 'family/friends/joy'. Pretty much like that existing in Europe. This needs to be played widely at this particular time. Lovely.

A company owned by a Brazillian holding firm with mostly US investors? There's fuck all Canadian left about Tims anymore, they're a crummy coffee stop that milks fake patriotism for profits.

I'm American and I love Canada so much. I've never been there but it seems like such a great place. I wish I were Candian so bad. I want to move there. Canadians are so cool ( especially Justin Trudeau ;) )

It's a delightful song. Just heard it today, and immediately shared it on my fb. It's wonderful, and reflects so much of who we are as Canadians! Yes, we are proud, and modest about it too! ♥️💪🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦💪♥️
