Loved this story. I would’ve liked to understand how Bruce got interested in IBD at first; at top schools the context generally drives you to be interested in finance, but that was not probably his case.

Great stuff - especially the part on nutrition. A game changer for me has been skipping breakfast and no carbs for lunch. Focus on proteins (mostly fish wild caught, white meat, and red once a week) together with salad or veggies, no bread - you will experience much higher energy levels and focus throughout the day. Dinner around 9pm, you can eat carbs, will put you in a good spot for a sleep around 2-3am. Waking up next day around 7/8am. Also when picking ingredients, try to focus on things that are in the same shape in nature (for example, apple, almonds, nuts, etc - instead of refined stuff that’s tasty but without nutrients)

hah i wish that would be dope. there’s a lot of focus on the firm because there’s very little content on youtube about the strategy and culture at each pe shop. super important to know for those recruiting for pe and my hope is to interview ppl with experience at all the top shops so ppl can use them as a resource when recruiting
