The 1987 250R Honda 3 wheelers were actually 1986 250r’s rebadged. Honda had a bunch of 3 wheelers destined to the US market when they got banned. Honda sold the leftovers in Canada because there was no ban and didn’t want to get stuck with them.
@FreedomInc4 жыл бұрын
Honda was known for doing this. ODYSEEY FL350R'S were only produced in 1985. Yet there are three years of them floating around 85,86,and 87.

My fried Eric had a tiger 250 3wheeler. FYI Tigers were raced first. ATC250 were designed to be raced. A factory machine that could race. Back before ATC250r. People raced 110 and 185 then atc200s. Also yamaha175s. Then Honda came out with the 250r and shit got REAL!

The 80s the last decade when America was America. When kids actually went outside and everybody was skinny.
@donaldthomas77536 жыл бұрын
My friend had a Tiger dealership, but sadly enough, the company went South and so did his business. The Cagiva that we raced against was a converted motorcycle. We were in up-state NY racking flat track when I guy and his 13 year old son were determined to race. The owners of the track said he was too young, but the father raised hell and said he'd sign anything to get his kid in the race. They had a big argument and finally they let the kid race. As I recall, the Cagiva started in the back because it was a two stroke racing in the 200 class. When the flag dropped the kid went from last to first in one lap. The second lap would be a disaster. The boy went into turn 1 and high sided it, sending the trike into the air as he lay beneath it. On its way down, the kid reached up to keep it from falling on him. Sadly, his index and middle fingers went into the sprocket and they were hanging by tendons. I, as many other riders jumped off and were in shock. I saw two women faint who were standing by that corner. The kid was rushed to the hospital and first bit of information we got was that they thought his fingers would have to be completely removed. A week later we were told that he was doing better and that it looked as though his fingers were saved. Then, his scummy father tries to sue the track, but they lost their case and were never to be seen again. In case you're wondering, this was a flat track in Elmira NY on Maple Ave. I miss the family that owned it and the great times we had.

skojo3e there are 1987 Honda atc 3 wheelers. My dad had a 87 200x. The only models that I can’t fully confirm is an 87 250r and 350x. Though there’s supposedly both and an 88 atc 250r in a private collection in Tennessee that were imported from Japan. The most common 87 is the big red. The least common conformable one is the 87 125m it has production numbers so low it’s unknown how many there are and there’s also a few 1988 big reds out there.
