Jesus, Why is shaman king so woke? It has all these complex characters that were selfish before like Ren or HoroHoro, and completely understand what makes them suppressed by negative thoughts through love or accepting your wrongful actions, and try to improve or live with it. At the same time, have them bounce off each other with great dynamics that are able to help out one another as people (really does hammer home that unity humanity needs). This series really does represent why I love manga/anime, to begin with. A way for people around the world to say something through their way of storytelling that has this culture and something that other countries wouldn't dare to tell. "And Besides, there's another way to kill a heart filled with hatred. With Love." -Yoh Asakura

That part about climate change was real af especially when we know what companies are responsible for over 70% of carbon emissions. It's depressing cuz humanity could solve the problem if we removed the profit incentive. What's the point of making a profit if the means is going to hinder our descendant's ability to thrive. I don't like to blame problems like this on average people who are usually doing their best to take care of themselves and their loved ones. As for the people who own these companies, are knowingly destroying our planet, and actively try to sabotage any attempt to address problems like this, screw em, take their wealth and put towards something that will actually be a benefit to humanity and not make future generations curse us.

Every soul that is born on Earth has made a pact with darkness. It´s what drives us to repete the mistakes we saw in our own history. It´s your own personal decition to break that pact and try to make a change. Now, if you belive in reincanation, you have two choices. Try to be better and devote your soul to saving this planet or finish you earthly bussines and leave. To everyone who chooses to stay, start by helping your loved ones, not by starting charities and batteling world hunger. Call your family, friends and ask if they need anything. Be good to people and listen to them. I have seen people try for so many lifetimes, but I do belive, that now is time, when we can make change.

I don't think that Hao forgot how to love. If he forgot, why he saved the baby Opacho and why he didn't killed Luchist, when he attacked him?And why he cried about his mother. He don't forgot how to love. His love is just suppressed by humans.But not completely. In other things I think you are right.
@rashplays4 жыл бұрын
Opacho and Luchist are exceptions. Hao did forget how to love until the very end, Ochachiyo said "In other words, That kid that I met in the past has comeback as your true self" throughout the story Hao wasn't being himself thus he forgot how to love until then end of the series and Yoh made him lose his power just like Anna. Re read the last chapter.

Well, in fitting with the main argument of the video: The argument itself is hypocritical. While the later stages of your argument tries to argue for an altruistic love(yes, that's essentially the conclusion of altruism), it's laid out in a hypocritically nihilistic argument: It's "bad"/"evil" to choose one over thousands, and it's also "bad"/"evil" to choose thousands over one, that one life should theoretically be irreplaceable From this, we get a nihilistic outlook that depicts human action, all human action as inherently evil except of course the altruistic love except if I were to continue the nihilistic outlook that you were going for 3/4ths of the video, isn't altruism also inherently selfish in that it preserves the individual who touts altruism? It would benefit both sides of course, but it wouldn't benefit the abuser as much as it would benefit the victim. This is why Nihilism as an argument, or rather as an existential argument is to the detriment of the human race. It's logical conclusion is the inevitability that you stated: All humans are garbage, and so why bother? I reject the argument posed in this video for my own thesis: Rather than pursue nihilism of humanity, or an altruistic love that though ideal will never come to be(because abusers won't all inherently make the choice not to abuse), we're better off pursuing a world of equity. An understanding that abuses will be balanced out by gains people can make. That for every evil person in the world, there is a good person. That a selfish action with a genuinely positive benefit is not destructive, but rather crucial to the earth's replenishment and its very survival. In a world of equity, we can live with varying other individuals. In a world of equity, where good and bad actions are equally weighed we can counterbalance each other and that counterbalance will lead to peace.
@azzydreamurr69542 жыл бұрын
For this reason alone, it’s hypocritical to judge someone. Because when you judge, you judge purely or negatively and yet both regardless of good intentions or bad one’s are selfish and hypocritical. You make other’s selfish when you do something for them that you don’t have to or that they don’t want you to. Do or didn’t ask you to. And when they do, they’re selfish because they allow someone else to be it, and when they aren’t, they’re still selfish because they reject someones “good intentions”. It’s a cycle of burden that nearly cannot be helped, even when you awaken to this truth. It happens through daily life that someone does a favor for you, that you didn’t ask about or want, or that they don’t do you any favors. And to ask of them it’s still selfish, yet when you don’t care for their help or needs it’s still selfish. So there’s only one solution, unity. By doing everything together out of love it’s not one sided. Unity is the ultimate salvation of the world, by hao giving up on humanity and tearing it apart. He abandons them and every chance of redemption that they can achieve by simply being aware of this. And that is the meaning of life “unity.”
