@@f-twelve7155 I watched yesterday, hahah. They made a lotta mistakes, but so did Ottawa. We just punished them a bit more. And Anderson was an ABSOLUTE WALL. Season openers are always gonna be sloppy. Lucky we got the dub and can now learn going forward as we settle in. Excited to see them keep up this play though.

Dahlin was hard to watch for the first couple seasons but it’s amazing how as soon as he started to button up his defensive game and positioning the offense started to come more and more naturally and the confidence is building. Now he’s confident enough to spray someone in the face I feel like that’s a good sign too

European players mostly stayed away from doing things like this back in the day because they were not physical or tough-style players so they did not want to bring the heat on themselves. Now they feel much more comfortable being " chippy" because most likely they will not have to suffer the repercussions.

Luckily the fallen player was wearing a visor…the force of the ice spray at such a close distance could potentially cause an eye injury if it made direct contact with an unshielded eye. As well, it is a dangerous play, because (with your scope of hockey knowledge and experience), you know that it is more possible to hit a rut in the ice near the corners than other places on he ice, so if he happened to hit one or lose an edge and fall, he would be going blades first into the player’s face that was already down on the ice. Luckily neither of those two things happened, but you would be singing a different tune if one of these two things had occurred and resulted in a severe injury to the downed player. He definitely deserved an unsportsmanlike penalty. Norris (the player who forced the turnover) showed him up and he acted like a child with that deliberate spray move. Please put your “Pom Poms” down and give us more professional and better insights with your Colour Commentary.

Watch out , there is actually a tiny , tiny risk that you slip on the door mat when you´re on your way out so it´s safer to stay indoors from now on. And before you take a seat next time please check that the chair is stable enough to withstand your weight because there is a limited number of times you can use a chair before it wrecks.
