Wings looked good enough to win both games last played. Close enough in Buffalo to hit a game-tying goal post, and another goal post away today. Kasper, Berggren, and Tarasenko on third line allows Copp to go to second line and stabilize both lines. Defense still sorting it out behind top pair. Wings will continue to improve over the season.

Absolutely. I refuse to be a homer and nitpick at a stat sheet while yelling for lalondes job. This could've easily been a 5 game win streak. The wings at their best are a slightly above 500 team but that doesn't mean we cant enjoy the highs just because our d core isn't optimal. With all the success GR is having so far and hearing about everyone doing really well idk why people choose to be miserable but that's predictable. Until the ship starts to really sink I'm not gonna turn into a raging casual

Ed needs to get better at getting stripped of the puck, and one v one puck battles. I think that will come in time. Its not that hes bad, but that seems to be a weaker spot to his game. Overall I like ed on the top line where he is and Ill take his mistakes over anyone else in our lineup.

Love Rasmussen and always have and I just wish he played with that edge he showed,, that look in his eyes !! I wish he did it more often,,, That is a BIG problem with the team, they are soft to play against, that and their D men...They are a couple of good D men and and real top scorer away,,bring up Watson etc and they can make a little noise....

When Copp comes out of the box and skates to the high middle ice (in his end) and doesn't have his head on a swivel to see the guy coming behind him, or a Edvidsson not locking Drysitil's stick as he moves to the goal, tells me the "little things" are not engrained in their brains. These shortcomings are part coaching and part player. Regardless of who, it has to change and that starts with coaching imho.

Based on their on-ice play, if not for heroic goalie performances, this team should probably only have 1 point.. and that's from the OT loss to Edmonton. In our 4 wins, we've been out-shot 153-77. That's 2 to 1. This looks more like a lottery, tank for Hagens, team than they do a playoff hopeful.

I've been saying they should trade for Andersson since last trade deadline.. he's definitely gonna be more expensive now. But I'd do 2026 1st, Määttä with some prospects for him 100%. Holl, Petry amd Chariot would be nice to trade away. But they're definitely negative value in a trade.

I still want a REAL explanation on the Jake walman deal…. There’s no way Detroit should have had to pay a prospect as a fee to trade him and he was better than a lot of the bottom pairs on this D core. I could see if they got something in return for him, but should not have had to pay. Something else was going on

We outplayed the Rangers in the first game, outplayed Edmonton, Nashville, and Pittsburgh. Too used to being doomers, season is still early and we have some young talent getting NHL reps.

I'm curious if we would have had enough cap to sign ghost, mo, and razor if we didn't sign Gustafsson and Tarasenko. That would have kept another F spot free for Kasper or Danielson.
