Btw I used Raspberry Pi imager, and it did indeed help alot. It would install the os (No need to download it from the internet), and is only around 500MB!

In fact you just install it, and chose the os to be installed, and if you are patient the app will format the sd card and install the os. You can also format the sd card quickly: do it by right clicking the sd card drive and format it as FAT32 type or something similar to this name. You are done! However, this video also shows a good way but it quite long. Good video though!

Such a nice step by step narration. Thank you so much. However, I got stuck just after the writing of the image onto the Drive. It gave this message: "You need to format the disk in Drive I: to use it." And also, when I opened network and share, I saw that Raspberry got connected as an unidentified network but when I opened the network and sharing center, I couldnot see the sharing tab.

This video was very helpful. If your raspberry doesn't work after it has worked the first time, just follow the steps from 15:04. In my case, the ip address had changed.( I don't know how but it changed on my laptop. The ports were same but the address changed). I repeated the steps from 15:04 and it worked fine. Hats off to you sir.

Check the drive of your SD card and give the correct drive name. If you gave the correct drive. Check whether you enabled write access to the card reader. many card will have a physical key to enable it.

Hi when I connect the SD card ti the laptop, 4 drives appear, Recovery, boot, and 2 drive (F: and H:). Both recovery and boot can be opened and accessed but the other 2 said it need to be formatted. What should I do and which one should I choose to format? Thanks!! I bought it from raspberry kit and I am not if it is the preloaded one, do I still need to do formatting? Also, I proceed and try to create a ssh file in the sd card but en error 0x8000ffff saying an unexpected error is keeping you from creating the file.

Your SD card might have NOOBS(operating system installer) pre-installed. Format the boot drive. Both boot and recovery drive belongs to your sd card. Make sure your sd card reader is not write protected

Yes, the idea is to format it in fat32. There is no special purpose. You can use this software even with USB card reader.
