I think it's more they can't heal a injuries than trying to bring her back to life. As we seen on the RPOX Issue 5 cover. Jean Grey is alive with the Phoenix which means the phoenix is going to come back to life and stop Enigma.

I will keep repeating this "plan" is stupid because IT IS. Moira was not originally a mutant. She was born human and sick and a "mysterious doctor" saved her life. The second issue of Powers of X tells it all. The story starts with her being gifted the power to reset the universe in the first place. The story can only end correctly with this loop being closed. Mr. Sinister needs to go back in time to Moira's first life. Killing Moira 10 "before her powers manifest" wouldn't change anything, even if it WAS possible (which is not the case) Moira remembers her past lives FROM THE WOMB, way before actually being born. The power manifestation that happens when she becomes 13 is a secondary power, probably her "black brain"/stealth telepathy. The truth is, Moira is a back-up of the 616 universe. Her mind is automatically uploaded into a "new body" whenever she dies. I always believed SHE was the actual reason "duplicates" were forbidden in Krakoa. Her Resurrection Protocols were the coma after the Sentinel attack during her 5th life; and Apocalypse's Stasis Sarcophagus during her 9th. A way for Moira to secretly travel between other realities in which she has a living body. What else could allow that if not a secret clone of Moira? The actual truth was that the Moira we've seen up until now was a clone sent by the Man-Machine Supremacy to the past to sabotage the Krakoan dream. That's why she was hiding in the No Place, so that the real Moira couldn't find her nor reveal herself... But all this would be if Marvel had stuck to Hickman's original plan

I am an Unlimited subscriber, and have really been looking fwd to Mondays for all the X books. Then today Rise 1&2 dropped, and I have no idea what happened to all the stuff that was happening. I didn't love all the Dominion stuff when kirkman started this storyline, and I really don't like it now. I needed your videos to make sure I understood what was happening. I do have one different take. I read Sinister/Doug not wanting to give anything away, having to do with him having Psi abilities to "drop eaves" bc that would give away that he's not merely Cipher.

I’m glad the Krakoa era is coming to an end. This just doesn’t feel like the X-Men anymore. I understand they wanted to try something new, nothing wrong with that. But it’s such a departure from what the X-Men were, it’s just a totally different thing. Like they were turned into the Inhumans in a way. Can’t wait to get back to the mansion

I don't feel like they are rushing or anything. They are solving things that were meant to be solved. They are in a war, so a lot of things happen at the same time. I'm sincerely not missing any explanation until now. All of them are being delivered. Some not at a chronological order, but delivered nonetheless. And about the resurrection, they explained it at Immortal X-men. The five are back in action, with Mother Righteous herself acting as the cerebro backup part.

It seems as though they are setting Rasputin up to be a type of sleeper bomb, having a confluence of the major players in one place with the AI dominion, and doing a big hard reset. If only for the X-Men titles, if not universe wide. This way they can be more in line with the direction that marvel studios will be going with the X-Men so that it's more familiar, not the first time they've done this

The only reason i can see for them stopping all the current stories is some kind of attempt to connect comic xmen to an mcu type xmen. And even then there are better ways to go about it than rushing through stories that have been building for awhile now

I got to read this issue this past Tuesday at my LCS. I like that Rasputin is powerful, but she isn't OP. If not for Cypher's intervention, she would have ultimately been killed by all those Sentinels on steroids. I am curious how Xavier was able to find and utilize this "hidden room" that even the Dominion can't perceive. I am a little annoyed that Cypher's wife is not there standing alongside him as his bodyguard. We haven't seen her in awhile and makes me wonder what happened to her ever since Krakoa placed Cypher in stasis.

In unlimited comics after the civil war on arrako they showed her that she was clearing the remains of the amenthy demons .Apparently she was on Mars after the gala . They showed a glimpse of the daily life of Cypher and Bei and that she was missing him . She even talked with Kobak and Sunspot which shouldn't be possible since even Cypher couldn't understand her but i guess we have to roll with it .They did the same with Firestar and put her in unlimited comics and she had few issues there although i think they should have included them in a proper issue i think .🤷‍♂

But I know Hickman left the X-office/Marvel to work on his individual projects. Now he’s back on Marvel… started GODs, which unfortunately is now ending after issue 8 (too bad, I like it). And he’s got Ultimates and a Doom book. Surely someone is asking about X-Men again, no? He sold a lot of books for them.

Yeah you’re right this ending does seem pretty rushed and kinda glossed over. Sure, the krakoan era got super weird but its been going on long enough for it to stay cannon in my opinion. If they just go right back to the mansion or delete all this from the timeline that would be stupid. I really think they need to keep mutants kind of on a revenge war path against humans to some degree until they figure out how make the whole mutant nation story work. It would be a shame if all this was for nothing.

Hickman wasn't fired. He had a 3 year contract. His time ran out due to the bloat the writers room added because they loved what Hickman came up with. Hickman left them with everything they need to finish the story.

This thing needs to end. It's not very good.The way the mutants plow through Orchis and the Sentinels like butter reduces any threat they represent. HOX/POX should have been a "What If". "What If the Anti Mutant groups were Right". This IP needs a reboot/refresh after the damage this era has done.

Orchis doesn't matter. Like you said all the other titles will need to reset too. Iron man and his new suit will never come to be. Mystirium is a metal that shouldn't exist IMO anyways.

I agree. I overall liked this issue except I really disliked this part. I thought we were past that “everyone is a Sinister” thing… it gives me Battlestar Galactica memories 😂 It mostly bothers me because Cypher was such an integral part of the Krakoan era. The set up, the maintenance, even his quiet machinations in the background. He deserved the agency and to close out the Krakoan era at the end.
