Going to be honest, Ninjon's vibrant colors photograph very well. I'm not sure that just going off images, that you've got em beat here! I really enjoy his palate, the colors really stay vivid even in most of the lighting he's using. Your red metal is slick as all heck though!

Thanks for another great video Vince. I originally learned about fluorescent paints to make reds pop but it never occurred to me to place white and then go over with a fluorescent orange. This technique looks *really* good. I’m going to have to try it on my next piece. Thanks again!

If you haven’t already tried it, the brightest fluo orange-red I have ever used is Lefranc & Bourgeois Flashe “Fluorescent Grenadine” from my “fine art” painting days. Not sure of the formulation but the coverage is also very good. Pictures don’t do it justice but just a heads up, it’s an eye-melter!

I'm watching both of you closely, and I think yours are better executed, but the weird shadow colours in Ninjon's rats give them a bit more visual interest. I'd say, so far, whose is "best painted" would entirely depend on judge's preference!

A new Vince Venturella painting vid. Always good. Btw, I just put an old one of yours to good use, exploring yellow and undercoloring/painting. Ik works perfectly, I even overdone it a bit ( my choice of yellow was AK 3rd Volcanic, in hindsight a bit too.... ) so now I have to tone down yellow. Imagine that 😆. Many thanks Vince, it feels like a new door of possibilities has opened for me!

Burnt Red, REd from Atom paints, Pastel Peach, Fluo Orange, and then glazes of the atom Red.
