Rat Rod Barrel Stove is Finished. Clean secondary burn machine, Plus 85 Honda fenders.

what I think is the final version of my barrel stove garage heater project. it is a clean Burn design and runs efficiently. Many thanks to the 1985 Honda Accord that donated so much to this project.

So does the secondary burn tube work well or was it a waste of time? You didn't really show it working.

I can't show it working without installing some sort of sight glass. Might do that. Meanwhile, it seems to work.

@@OGGarrettsGarage I did find another video where it's working. It just looks like a burner in a gas oven. pretty interesting to see. I'll be building one in my barrel stove now. I think I'm going to throw a pipe in there next to it that I can fill with water, just for a boiler/ humidifier. It dries our house out like crazy sometimes, and we're already using a gallon cast iron kettle. cheers.

I had 2 modern wood stoves at a previous house that both had to have either a catalytic type filter or a secondary burn system to comply with the California smog rules. I chose secondary burn and learned how to get the system balanced. The biggest tell (if you can't see into your stove) is the elimination of smoke. I know I've got the air adjusted correctly when the only thing I see coming out of my chimney is heat waves. Cheers!
