Nostalgia goggles. Trust me I understand; but there are tons of new games that will bring the same feeling we are experiencing to the kids who play them. Everybody has a childhood game like this, doesn't matter when you're born or what you play - the first game someone gets truly invested into will give them nostalgic feelings, even games as outwardly horrible as golf can give people this feeling if they played it as a child

+TheSilvantor If that ruins a game for you then I think you seriously need to rethink your existence, a drop to 40 or so FPS for a split second is more than welcome when the games look that fucking gorgeous, 1080p NATIVE and beautifully upscaled textures and enhanced, the few glitches don't detract from the PS3 port, it's how Ratchet and Clank was meant to look, just the PS2 couldn't do it justice the same way the PS3 could (EDIT) It is actually only 720p

Ratchet and Clank 1 Great Ratchet and Clank 2 Good Ratchet and Clank 3 FUCKING MASTERPIECE! And I think the rest are just... great... still damn fine games but I don't think the series can quite peak 3, maybe Crack in Time, but that felt a bit empty without Clank, you felt very alone which I guess is what Insomniac were going for but it felt weird to not have Clank, and so many times would I fail a jump because I would try to glide

yoyoyoshio267 For me, I’d switch around 1 and 2 Ratchet and Clank 1: Good Ratchet and Clank 2: Great Ratchet and Clank 3: Awesome The reason why is that I find 2 holds up a lot better than 1, and with the improved gameplay, weapons, and controls, the game is more fun to play to me. Ratchet’s more loveable as well, from that game onward. He’s a lot nicer, but still has his quips and wisecracks, and thirst for excitement and love for gizmos and gadgets. This is all my opinion though. If you prefer 1, more power to you :)

@@jakandratchet9930 This is my opinion on the classic trilogy Ratchet and Clank 1: Decent Ratchet and Clank 2: Masterpiece Ratchet and Clank 3: Masterpiece Ratchet Deadlocked: Awesome Now, I would have to say that 3 is just below 2. It's really hard for me, cuz I love those two games to death, but I think 2 had a bit more of an impact on me. Deadlocked also an awesome game, with having suck badass music and just all out cool tone. And while I don't hate 1, I just don't enjoy the gameplay all that much. But, who knows, I haven't gotten to play it for a long time now, so maybe my opinion will change since I'm an adult now?

Ratchet and Clank Tools Of Destruction: Pretty good Ratchet and Clank Quest For Booty: Short, but okay Ratchet and Clank A Crack In Time: Awesome and pretty fun flying around through the galaxies :D Ratchet and Clank All 4 One: Fun as long as you had a friend or online players to play it with Ratchet and Clank Q Force: OK Ratchet and Clank Nexus: I played a little bit of it, so i can't say my opinion on it yet XD Ratchet and Clank 2016 Reboot: Love it!

Yeah, they don't make Sly and Jak games no more. And the not many Ratchet games got made after PS3 and many of those were spin-offs or small games. I am playing Rift Apart on PS5 and like it, but I am afraid they won't make Ratchet games much anymore due to Insomniac making Spider-Man games. :(

I was a really little kid when i first played this, like maybe 5 years old or so. I cannot express how fantastic this game was to tiny me, and how epic it felt with all the twists and turns, even without ever having heard of ratchet and clank before. This still takes me back to those days, and it's hard not to get emotional. Also, just for those worried: the game holds up fantastically to this day
