God damn! I'm sooooo angry bacause just a very few people know this. A Crack In Time has a wonderful story and it took the series to a new level in terms of maturity, the characters, the plot, okay maybe there are better games in the franchise in terms of gameplay, but no other was able to tell the story soo much deeply and evoke so many emotions from people, and unfortunately, no other ratchet and clank game has been able to surpass this since. The BEST game in the whole series for sure. Masterpiece!!! (Sorry for my english)

Because this Universe has specific laws that restrict the number of possible outcomes. dimension: although may or may not be similar it has their own set rules oun to that universe. as smarter guy than me put it: A different dimension, as opposed to a timeline, is a different environment entirely, with potentially different physical properties, laws of physics and dynamics between them, etc.

Here's some food for thought. At the end of Ratchet and clank 3, which took place in the Solana galaxy, Dr Nefarious got teleported onto an asteroid. This game takes place in the Polaris galaxy. This means Dr Nefarious was trapped on an asteroid long enough for it to go from one galaxy to another.

Using the clock for time travel is strictly prohibited, it was used for that twice in the game where they travelled back further than 6 minutes but honestly those are contradictions and don’t follow the rules the game set out for itself Also he likely would’ve never have met clank if he travels back in time to see them, causing a paradox

Coming back to this, when I first saw Rift Aparts adaptation of Nefarious I thought it was gross and the one from this game would always be best. While I still love the model in this the new ones grown on me a lot and, well it’s highlighted the age of this game. Don’t mistake for ACIT it’s still an amazing game with a great graphics lineup even today. But the new always will look better. Unless you reALLY botch it up haha
