+Nathaniel Foga I never really enjoyed the Clank parts of the games, especially the Giant Clank stuff. It wasn't til A Crack in Time where the clank stuff was fun and interesting. I also enjoyed the Clank stuff in Into the Nexus. So hopefully the new game will have some good Clank content. Not sure if SuperButterBuns just doesn't like the Clank gameplay like me, or if there is more to it.

I'm no beginner, in fact I have a higher number of "R"s in this game than I am old, but I still enjoy this and other similar videos because of your brilliant commentary with the extensive attention to detail. It really brings me back to the days when I first played these games. I always feel a special sense of joy whenever someone acknowledges the existence of these, the jak and daxter, and the sly cooper games just because they were such a big part of my childhood. It seems the golden age of ps1 and 2 platforming is often overlooked these days which is sad seeing as a bullshit series like call of duty is still being manufactured by the year. Tip for Aquatos' sewers; Use the Disk Blade gun. I just unload that thing in the beginning of the sewers and thirty minutes later they're still floating around somewhere. Plus; Since everything is all tubey, they're perfect to launch around.

I really liked the Ranger sections. It made me feel like I was actually part of a galactic military. My two main problems were that 1) it was a tad short, but given that any longer and it might have dragged on, I can forgive this, and 2) I would have liked more section with the Terraguise and the laser gadget thing. I really liked them and would have liked more of them then all the hacker sections they had.

For R&C neophytes, I'd recommend starting with the first game and playing them in order. (Once you're used to strafing, it's hard to go back to the first game where the feature was absent). The first game is great, but Going Commando added a few welcome improvements (and things that were omitted from the first game for budget/time reasons like the spherical worlds). Up Your Arsenal is probably equally good as the 2nd game, but Going Commando will forever be my favourite (it was my first PS2 game). But having said that, my two favourite cut-scenes in the whole franchise are in R&C3; The bit where Ratchet mimes the Courtney Gears music video, and the Dr Nefarious monologue where Lawrence hilariously translates into sign language.

In ratchet & clank "a crack in the time" clank's levels are really interesting, actually half of it, the puzzles with clank's time-clones-whatever-they-are are pretty amazing buuuuuut, there are some "puzzles" where you basically have to pew pew pew all arround a planet with your stick sitting on your back in order to repair some... crack in the time?... I just never understood those section and nailed them by smashing the square button if I remember right but hey worth it! Maybe... well i do like play as ratchet in this game and it's the main playable character and there lots of cool stuff with so this r & c is really cool! If you are bored from kingdom heart try it out! Unless you already done it in that case... congratulations ! :D *whispering* (A video on this one would be great, just saying wink wink) By the way really great video and i really like your work, i just discovered your channel 2 months ago randomly (thanks to youtube recommendations) and it's great, continue this way and then take over the world :)

K I have to ask you a quick question, I know this video is old now but, did you play the multiplayer in the PS2 days, and did you host glitch lobbies? What was your user name? 3 used to be my favourite but overplaying and the sheer fact of it being straight up easy to beat made it one of the toughest ones for me to get the full way through in the past few years but 2 is perfection. Controls are ironed out weapons are pretty good maybe not as good as 1 and the levels are difficult enough that you have to pay attention in order to get by unlike 3 with the plasma storm or that really annoying rynocerator flash

Missions can be annoying...but are great to level weapons. Unlike the planets the missions don't get reduced enemy quantity after clearing them the 1st time

I always alternated Lock Strafe and Third Person mode. Some of the shooty bits are really fun in Lock Strafe, but some weapons like the Plasma Whip and Lava Gun work way better in Third Person.

Hi, this is the only Ratchet that i did and i feel there might be a big advice missing. Even in normal difficulty, the game gets really hard as close as you reach the end. The last boss first phase is the hardest moment of the game and you need to be prepared for it. The only way to make it fairly doable, unless you are really good at video games, is tu purchase the last and best armor available of the game and trust me it won t come cheap. Here is what you should do : 1) upgrade your weapon at max level one at a time and don t buy any new weapon unless evry weapon you have are at max level 2) Do not buy the green armor (the one you can get before the red cool last one that you need), its a big useless expense once you buy the last armor 3) Once you have the magnet boots and the gadget that points you to every secrets on the map ( if i remember right the rangers give it to you once you do all the missions with them on a planet) go to the sewers and collect all the crystals in order to exchange them for a lot of money. 4) If you did not complete them already, do the extra missions that gives you money to get enough once you see the price of that last armor. 5) Don t waste money on skins for the ship. I feel this is important because back then i couldn t beat the last boss without this armor and i had to start over a new save a couple years later with all this knowledge to beat it. Did you all former players of this game need it too ?

I guess something they did new in this game was give you a central base with that star ship you keep coming back to, as well as those quirky (Quarky?) Captain Quark 2D sidescroller segments. I agree there's less and less to talk about. From this point they mostly just tweaked the controls, like it was either this game or the game after that they finally just decided, instead of having us hold down strafe 24/7, they'd just add a toggle.

When will you be making Demon's Souls for non-hipsters? Or Hipster's souls as I call it. I need to know how much time I have to finish it, I got it about a week ago and when I got to SL 70 , I talked to Boldwin, highlighted the ok when buying moon grass (not buying it) slowly walked to Thomas bit by bit, with the nexial binding equiped pressed square and then start, talked to Thomas, deposited a boss soul (or any item) and MASHED circle. Yah, good, did killing Garl and Astraea (or talking to her) make you cry? Nothing else in the souls series has made me cry so much.

I LOVE Ratchet and Clank UYA, it's one of the only Ratchet and Clank games from PS2 I got 100% completion on for my PS3, I got every in-game trophy, every skill point, every last Platinum bolt, upgraded all weapons, and got all its PS3 trophies awarding me another Platinum. I almost got 100% on its PS2 version.
