A couple of tips I have that have made playing Skyrim much easier for me and will make playing easier for beginners would be the following : 1. Always stay on a road when traveling, cutting into the grass is like playing Pokemon. You'll always get attack by wild animals. 2. Always have a follower with you ( I prefer wizards for this one ) and let them do the fighting. 3. Always have potion's, food, and a healing spell with you ( ignore the last one if your character doesn't use magic). Because you're going to get attacked a lot, unless you plan on staying in a town all the time. 4.It doesn't hurt to be skilled at more than one weapon , I like to use a bow and arrow because most times I can kill the enemies before they get close to me. I also like getting right in there with a sword for those annoying humans who come charging at me. 5. Being either a Vampire Lord or a Werewolf can definitely help at times ( just don't go charging in a village as one )

A few things in this video are now out of date. As most players will either be playing the Legendary or the upcoming Anniversary Editions, Legendary Skills are a thing. Long story short, the game no longer has a level cap. Also, iron daggers are out of fashion. The new Hotness is using the Transmutation spell on Iron Ore to make Gold Ore, smith Gold Rings, Enchant said rings, and then sell them. It levels four skills (Alteration, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, and Speechcraft), *AND* makes you a ton of money.

You have got to be full of shit because both Skyrim and Oblivion have scaling dungeons and encounters. I distinctly remember trying to grind for a quest in oblivion and finding out all the monsters had changed to be more powerful.

An update took the level cap out. Remember the excitement on the old Bethesda forums when that happened.

I had my first character at level 67 Had full use of my two handed weapon and heavy armor, then got bored and started to level up smithing, then leveled out one handed weapons, also level out my bow and arrow, I was working on conjuring next when my Xbox 360 had a magnet malfunction, I blame my sister, and erased my avatar profile and thus all my hard work... I was very sad.

There's a glitch that allows you to respawn the chest items (and any store keeper's inventory) instantly. I can't remember the specifics, but it involves quickloading and saving and attacking the shopkeeper. For the chest, you can only do it when the Kahjiit caravans are parked close by.
@co-ramp6324 жыл бұрын
You can also go to whiterun, after entering go to the right into the watchtower thing, jump on the barrel, jump out the opening by the top, walk around to the eagle statue where the skyforge is(there should be openings into whiterun you can see), find the rock with no collisions, keep going and open the chest there.

Pro tip become a Khajiit their passive Nighteye ability is the most useful (makes torches useless,) because most other ability become shouts/enchants or are just completely useless.

Potions are always worth picking up because of their high value/weight ratio. After all, there is only one vanilla potion with a base value of less than 10/lb. The most useful potions are by far Health and Magic (if you use magic) restoration potions. The rest are easy money.

That invisible chest near Dawnstar is actually the inventory to the Kajiits that sell stuff camping outside of cities, but they travel alot so if you wait you can just take what u want fromt the chest and then save and hit the salesman and reload to replenish the chest with different stuff.

Part of the loading times between areas is because of the game autosaving your progress -- disabling the "Save on travel" gameplay option can reduce this significantly, although it puts you at a bigger risk of losing progress if you die unexpectedly. Note that the Special (PS4/XBO) and Switch versions of Skyrim offer a "Quicksave" command you can use at will, and the Switch version specifically loads new areas very fast. In these cases it can actually be more convenient to turn most of the autosave options off and just drop quicksaves whenever you need a 'checkpoint'. Also, speaking of magic bound weaponry, head to Fort Amol (just east of Skyrim's central mountain, near the Lost Knife bandit cave), enter the prison and look for a bucket with a lantern in it. Hidden underneath it is the spell tome for "Bound Bow", an otherwise expensive/difficult spell to acquire. It's also difficult to cast at low levels but worth it: you summon a magic bow with 100 free arrows, and these are arrows that enemy archers _cannot_ just pick up and shoot back at you. The Alteration spell "Telekinesis" is also a useful one to search out: Even if you can't cast it yet, just equipping it will allow you to identify items from a distance.

i wish I could play Skyrim for the first time again. Knowing the fastest way to get the best armor and level 100 skills really killed the experience
