Mostly I don’t like the bubbles since I have a manual I don’t get much from pops upon shifts. Bubbles at times are just not throaty enough. I have an s3 8V stage 2 with CTS turbo decated DP and thwre on stock catback. My mechanic told me that it is complete necesary tu have the full gain of tbe stage 2, but if that is so, will i notice more gains or is just a fey hp or Nm? The catback is an expensive part so that is my concern . Thanks

The catback is not necessary for power or performance. You’re really only changing the sound. The true power comes from the downpipe. I’ve been running a CTS downpipe and my stock exhaust just with the resonator delete and I’m stage 3 pushing around 500hp. The catback is not necessary

Do you need to go stage 2 tune if you put this down pipe on?
@RatchetWrenches2 жыл бұрын
You don’t have to but the whole point of the downpipe is for performance, so adding the tune will just make the downpipe really worth wild. Plus you’ll get a check engine light when you put the downpipe on, the tune will help trick the system to reading the proper o2 readings

Did you find a solution to the first bend in the mid-pipe touching the heat shield? It rattles for me right there and sounds like a leak but thankfully it's not. I just don't know what I should do to fix it.
@RatchetWrenches2 жыл бұрын
I actually ended up tightening and tweaking the angles a little bit to have it clear. Minor adjustments go a long way! But if you wanted you can push the heat shield out of the way with a pry bar to give it extra clearance but that’s up to you. If we’re talking about the same spot!
