The owner was such a nice man. Your face was priceless when you tried the pickled onion. My grandfather used to pickle everything, so I'm sure onions were included. The fried pork ribs were not appetizing. Fried onion pizza....not for me. Glad you enjoyed it. I would have enjoyed the deep fried Mars bar and ice cream. Thanks, Danny! 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧

The mobile chippy van in Topcliffe should be on your list Danny, if you live in Leeds it's not too far for you to travel. A quiet village just off the A1. It's usually there on Fridays from 5-7pm, the highlight of my day after a miserable, stressful day at work. (And i'm extremely fussy with chippy's and don't often find one I approve of! The best one I've ever tried throughout the UK in my opinion) cheers

Fish suppers ok every once in a while and, for a special treat. You will need to try Marco's in Arbroath. Sit at the harbour and, enjoy the scenery whilst eating it. Another is Murray's in Broughty Ferry. Sit at the castle and enjoy the scenery.

Mate, unbelievable. I lived above that place for the first five years of my life. Is the Bagotelli machine still there? The girls that worked there would give me a 2P to play it and hold me up so I could see. The owners are beautiful people. Even after I moved away, every time I went in they would still give me a can of Pepsi on the house when I bought a bag of chips. My Dads local was right across the street too. Brilliant.
