What a great takeaway. I am reluctant to use the word 'Takeaway', looked great food, not right big portions, but at the same time, not too bad prices, lovely staff. I would have had to try those potato's, they were literally calling me. It's the variety that would keep me coming back to this place. So many takeaways thesedays rest on their laurels, its ultimately why they fail. I can see this place is making a big effort, trying things, without getting over ambitious.

This family live on next road to my family, The four daughters including Virginia who is going through the Menu with Danny went to the same primary school as my daughter. I used to walk up to school with them when Virginia was in her pram! A lovely polite family & their food is amazing.. We also have Ron's Card Shop on same road, 65 years old & run by second & third generation of the same family, one of CHEAPEST Card Shops around & staff are fantastic.. We also have Marilyn's Wool Shop that's 84 years old, the lovely lady I met there told me that she had worked there 73 years! Not forgetting Henry's Cafe on Firth Park roundabout where the Meat & Potato is mouthwatering.. Just a few success stories in our local area... Jan x

Love it ... including the music. And of course the "oh mah b0b" moment. Not just a top review and fab footage, but also cheeky fun video editing! Also ... I love it when I see a place making really good, mouth-watering food (well done to everyone who works there!) and I think what a joy it must be if you live round the corner. T'old Editor's full of beans tonight, and on top form. The slo mo mandolin accompanied lasagne mouthful segue pigeon "eh up!" is a Rate My Takeaway classic film moment, but by t'looks Il Forno deserves some love and special treatment. I'll tell you what, even just LOOKING, you can SEE the texture, proper 'Al dente' (you can BITE it).. Where restaurants so often fail with baked (al forno) pastas is that they're too sloppy. No one wants cannelloni that fall to bits on t'old spoon. This looks absolutely delicious, and the value for money is outstanding. Hats off to Il Forno Sheffield. Obviously a credit to the city and another blessing for God's own county. Nice one Danny! 🌟👍

It looks like the most confused shop in terms of what it sells but at the same time seems like they do really good stuff. The perfect place to visit if you're not sure what you want or are in the mood for. Just rock up and pick something there and then. Prices look spot on too.

I live in firthpark and I’ve also had the pizza from there it’s beautiful and they used to do all different types of fresh bread too but if you didn’t get there early enough it was always sold out it really is a hidden gem absolutely beautiful 😍

I'm old a synical so couldn't rule out that they claimed they'd been reported, just to go viral and make lots of money. :P I kne wit'd be outstanding, the second you went in. I've not seen a place like that, for about 20 years! THere used to be a place on the Earls C0urt Road. £3.50 you'd get a big bowl of homemade soup, a load of freshly baked bread and instead of butter, a load of homemade pesto, to put on it! It's interesting to watch the people in the background as it seems a social hub as well as a place to eat. :)
