Nice summer and winter beach walk. We had some rain last night which promptly froze so my 16KM walk today was very slippery. But that's winter in Calgary. Glad you are enjoying a mild BC winter. Have a great New Year and we look forward to following your adventures.

Been out of sorts..Hope you had a good holiday. Tide change is really amazing. Good to see all the aquatic life along the beach. you would have to be on your toes to try and boat out in the bay. Great comparison and view of the beach. Enjoy

Sorry to hear you've been under the weather Buck and hope you're feeling better now. This bay is very shallow and a great spot for families wading into the shallow waters. Once you get out past the sandy beach into deeper water, it drops off quite fast and is VERY deep starting at 100 feet and the middle of Georgia Straight is 1300 feet deep!
