It was the closest me and my friends had to "clubbing" lmao plus excuses to wear pretty dresses and try to show off our "fashion". I'm glad social media wasn't a thing back then though. I didn't go to my senior prom in 07 but I saw people as they went in to the venue and EVERY GIRL HAD THE SAME DRESS ON . Just different colors. I'm not kidding. I didn't go because the dress I wanted I couldn't get made so I just ditched it.
