I'm going to have to agree about Vanilla Sex. Even the opening is a cheap benzaldeyde concoction worthy of B&BW. Honestly not a surprise, so there really was no disappointment. Also got to try the new NR Vetiver Musc and it STRONGLY reminded me of something I already smelled before. Another cypressy vetiveryl acetate woody amber heavy on the geraniol. Not even a like. Thank you for your take on Penguin!! 🐧 And glad the new Initio was a hit for you. 💜

I hate 99% of the perfumes I smell, so this video was super relatable😂😂. I do want to try that masculine perfume. For some reason, masculine scents work much better with my body chemistry and I prefer those scents to the feminine sweet, floral, candy ones. Excellent video!

You're review of Nanatopia cracked me up, but I actually really like that fragrance! I only get banana bread briefly in the opening, then it's a spicy, woody scent on me that's warm and cozy. No musty gym clothes or shoe dirt on me. 🤣🤣🤣

Okay your top is gorgeous Chris love the red! And you are hilarious. As soon as I heard the name of that TF scent I also rolled my eyes. Hi Chirs😍, home sick and today is the first day in a week I could tolerate perfume and I happened to spray my decant of Narcotic Delight 🥰, imo this scent is feminine, normally tobacco is on my danger list of notes and usually leans masculine but not this one , ppl have said this isn't strong but I think it could have been cloying if it was much stronger

Hey, Chris! I'm with you on the name of the new TF perfume. TF trying to be shocking is so stupid. I'm also annoyed with "gasm" on makeup and perfume, such as with the new Kayali ones. Charlotte Tilbury won't stop with the "gasm," either, and it's all so overdone at this point. Anyway, I also am finished with buying cherry perfumes. I have a few and they all smell too similar, so I will wear them and enjoy them and I will not buy anymore cherry perfumes. I worry the oversaturation in the market of notes like cherry is going to make me tired of certain notes more quickly, though I never seem to tire of vanillas.

I was already lol at the preview comments...TF VS, #imdead😂 So...the comments I'm seeing in the fraghead group I'm in are similar and hilarious- a public bathroom with vanilla in the background, bad playdoh with rancid vanilla, throw up soaked cheap leather seats... For that expensive of a scent...😶 I agree on Zoologist fragrances too. Interesting, smells ok but not very wearable everyday. I got a tester of Snowy Owl- I appreciated the scent memories, it reminded me of coming back inside from the snowy outdoors in MN. But its not something I want to wear. Really enjoyed your candid takes on these new releases!!!🤣 Loving banana notes at the moment and I got a kick out of your Nanatopia experience! I was also disappointed in it, not quite as bad as you, but I also got a powerful earthy woody note, I think it must be the cypriol oil/nagarmotha they used that I wasn't jiving with, because I usually love damp, complex patchoulis like Serge Lutens Borneo 1834 & Coromandel! I just wish I got way more of the gourmand notes like the banana, bread and tonka! For banana bread, have you tried Haus of Gloi "Fancy Bread" (from their Yule collection)? It smells exactly like real warm, banana bread straight out of the oven to me! I want to get it in body products next time, highly rec if you haven't tried it!

love honest reviews and I appreciate your video for that so much! As to Tom Form Vanilla Sex - fully agree. Not a fan of it but also I have a feeling they just let go somehow in terms of originality and quality for some time now. Like in my opinion their last great one was Tobacco Vanille. On the Miss Dior: could you say something more about longevity and projection, please? Sparkling Bouquet was pleasant perfum but evaporated from my skin in like 30 minutes. Total waste of money. And I absolutely Love Penguin! Will make a use of it in the summer :-).

"Stale banana bread in a boys' locker room" was the best description, LOL! I once said a perfume had undertones of "monkey house at the zoo" and it was true! Yikes that was bad! I had a scrubber recently that has had great reviews, Barrakat Satin Oud. I just can't get past the first nasty notes and that darn thing will last 12 hours! Why do the stinky ones last the longest, why?? (if I insulted someone's love, I'm sorry, but my nose hates that one) Gosh, Amore Cafe sounds heavenly though do have a few coffee fragrances already. When i smelt it a while back i thought what are these people talking about. to me it smells so basic that even BBW vanilla bean noel smells a lot better lol. Interesting descriptions. The only one I loved from these new releases was the Black Opium Over Red and I do not like the original Black Opium at all! My favorite flanker is Le Parfum. The best Vanilla fragrance!

If we don't initially like a fragrance, should we try it again? I liked Penhaligon's Yasmine when I first sprayed it and it was fine. After showering, I used a few sprays, and decided I didn't like it. It seemed more like an air freshener. When I woke up in the morning, I liked it again, but had to touch my wrist to my nose in order to smell it. This fragrance has me more confused than any other fragrance. I can't decide if it's full bottle worthy even though everyone likes it. I suffer from FOMO.

Smelled TFVS during the holidays and thought it was really yummy at first, then dried down to a super plasticky sweet almond. In fact, when people say a fragrance gives them the nostalgic doll smell, I didn’t know what they meant. It’s this. Thankfully didn’t get a dirty smell on my skin but I am not interested at all. I did get a decant of TF Vanille Fatale and it smelled a-ma-zing on my husband.

Vanilla Sex was boring. I am not a fan of Miss Dior, but am thrilled that Francis is taking over the fragrances. That Montale is surprising with the name that it is so floral. Won't be trying Nanatopia (it wasn't on my radar anyways). Not interested in a coffee fragrance now that the weather is changing to spring. I smelled Narcotic Delight on a test strip, wish I had tried on skin now. I had Musk Therapy on my mind because I had just bought Rania J Musc Moschino and people told me they were similar. Musc Moschino was 100% better than Musk Therapy so that made me happy I had made the right choice. I work with a 3rd grader who when someone uses the work "Hate" she says that's a bad word and looks horrified. Love your outfit!!
