As a Spaniard, I'm excited for this video! 💖 I loooooove the tortas, we call them tortas de aceite (olive oil tortas), they are supper common in Andalucía. We have them for breakfast or a snack. There are different flavours but my fave one is the regular olive oil ones 🥰

Funny you should find Sugus in a Mediterranean store, because they are... (very) Swiss. I've never seen them in another country, although they might have gone global. They were an institution in my childhood and we even visited the factory - which also made chocolate - during a school trip. They tend to rip your teeth fillings right off though 😱. I love your videos !

oh, i got to that shop once by accident. i was amazed and shocked kkinda, haha, it is really expensive. it felt to me like a bit more than an italian shop + a ton of wine. but i think you inspired me to go there once more and try some things from the video that I usually dont even look at, thanks!

I grew up eating trufas so I'd say they are quite typical but someone might disagree. You should try to cook a tortilla de patata yourself if you haven't already, it's easy to make and incredibly good.

I love going to regional shops and getting new treats to try. There's a delicatessen near me that I go to for German treats sometimes. I got a bottle of woodruff syrup last time that I'm not sure I'll ever be able to finish because it is so big 😅

The best truffles are the homemade ones. It's so easy and cheap that we used to make them all the time as kids. It's the first recipe we learned with crêpes (only downside is you see how much butter goes into it 😅)
