Christine's brand is actually based in the US, but the shipping is expensive because they are shipping nail polish. Her and Ben have talked about it in her podcast, they've said the shipping you pay is literally what the service charges them, there's no mark up on the shipping

nail polish is a hazmat item and requires a long process before being sent off to make sure it is cushioned and cannot move because if one of their products would break, the shipping company could fine them hundreds of thousands of dollars or refuse them service and will not ship for them again.

just an fyi, holo taco ships out of new jersey, they intentionally picked a facility in the usa to keep prices lower for her american customers!! it's just super expensive to ship nail polish :)

people act like it’s not super expensive for small brands to create unique pieces. Everyone is so used to target/ Walmart pricing and small companies cannot compete with those behemoths

I can understand why it would be more than Target, but there's a point where only people who can afford to spend lots of clothes can buy any of these clothes, which makes business for the brand a lot slower. There are lots of KZbinr brands I would love to try out to support them and see what it's like, but I just can't afford it. I don't have 80 dollars to spend on a hoodie.

What I love about ToLuca is that they also have picture of girls who are not just skinny! I love if brands have models of all sizes. I don't know way, maybe because I am also on the bigger side that it makes me feel comfortable knowing that I would look nice in it when there is also a plus size woman wearing it

the thing with high prices those days is that we are used to prices like Shein or H&M and we forget that quality usually costs because there is so much more behind the clothing than just packing and shipping it .. i mean yeah not everyone can afford it but that's just how life works 😅 love your reviews, your personality is golden :)

Love Holo Taco for all of their unicorn skin toppers. Definitely seal it in with their glossy Toco!!! I purchased Aurora Unicorn Skin and Solar Unicorn Skin. Love how they look different when layered over different colors. I used to hate doing my nails but this stuff lasts so long it makes it worth the effort 🙂
