Can I just say I love your intros and outros? The early 90s/2000s aesthetic always makes me feel something. Growing up I was usually a generation behind on consoles so despite being a kid around 2006-2012 my music and vidya tastes are characterized by stuff from before I was even born. Even today I find much more comfort in retro media than modern. Love watching your videos and learning more about the things that I was almost too young to even understand playing. Hope you keep making banger content like this, maybe I'll run into you in a game someday.

I found myself in this rabbit hole a week or two ago, read the website, and thought "surely this is a joke, right?". Good to know I was right about that at least. One thing this video didn't touch on that's in a lot of other accounts though: supposedly JBmod was submitted to steam greenlight (or whatever the process of getting a game on Steam was called at the time), but rejected by Valve for having sexual poses in the screenshots. Did this actually happen? Like, was it submitted to Valve as a joke, knowing that it would never be approved, or is the whole thing an outright lie?

The Greenlight thing is interesting. It could've been an earnest attempt by Snakez to turn JBMod into an actual real game but the Greenlight video almost seems like a parody- the idea that JBMod "wouldn't work without tight steam integration" is just too absurd for it to not be him making a joke

In my head, I'm picturing Snakez is laughing like that clip of the Firefly crew after Mal convinced the Doctor the engineer died every time he sees someone perpetuate the lie he created. It's easy to think of that famous Dark Knight qoute about wanting to watch the world burn and attributing it to him. But I'd like to think of his total disregard for the legacy he ruined birthing not from malice, but apathy since this is the legacy of a mod for a video game - none of this really matters to the world as a whole. There's a kind of simplistic, every man nobility to him when you think of Snakez like that. But yeah, he's probably just a typical malicous troll.
