Reminds me of growing up in New Mexico. As a kid, I and my family, had several close calls with rattlers. I remember one time, my Mom was hanging pillows outside to air out, looked down and saw a rattler, about two feet long. She dropped a pillow, which landed on the snake. She ran inside, grabbed the shotgun, ran out and boom! Feathers and snake all over the place. I was standing there, amazed. I didn't know that my Mom could move that fast!!! That was probably the snake's last thought too.

Awh man, luckily that snake was disoriented from all that. Other than that, kid could have been bitten. Glad to see he's okay though instead of everyone else acting tough. A dangerous snake like that, it's in your fucking ancestral unconscious for survival to avoid a fucking snake or anything harmful. It was just his primordial instinct to do that.
