@dijacobi Please listen to the shiur. I believe you will learn a lot. Im Sefardi myself, I learn from Rav Ovadia's books, etc. but in this case Rav Bar Hayim brings clear proof agains't the "p'ku ah nefesh" psak of Rav Ovadia and explains clearly the Halahic question and why Land for peace is incorrect. Just listen, that is my advice.

@dijacobi Actually, yes he is a great Torah scholar, BUT not everything he says (particularly) his land for "peace" psak is wrong halahically and logically. i was never a fan of Rav Ovadia, but i agree with him here. sheitls in and of themselves don't make sense because they defeat the purpose of modesty. if a woman wears a wig that's more attractive than her real hair, she is no achieving modesty.
