RAV4 Auto Dim Mirror Install

In this trying time (and boredom taking over) I was finally able to go outside and do a video. I jump right into installing an auto dimming mirror w/compass part number PT374-42060 in the RAV4. This one is for sunroof only.

Hi, 84hachi! I'm looking to add an Auto-Dimming Mirror to my new-to-me 2008 Rav4. I'm curious, where did you source your mirror? I went to a local dealership here, and they didn't seem to narrow it down to one option. One mirror they found apparently did not have a compass. The mirror in the accessory pamphlet shows a compass, so I assumed that was the wrong one. One specified it did not come with a wiring harness. The other it was unclear. The dealership then quoted me the price for what they assumed was just the wiring harness. They were not clear to me which Part No. (P/N) was associated with which description above, initially stating that they can't give out P/Ns. However, none of them were simply "PT374-42060". They had suffixes like PT374-42060-MC, -EC, -WH.

Which generation RAV4? I’d like to upgrade my 17 RAV4 to a Homelink with auto dim mirror.

This precise install is for a Gen 3 Rav4 with Sunroof. With your 2017 being a Gen 4, I'd suggest first looking at the accessories pamphlet that came with your Owner's manual. And maybe you could ask at a dealer. However, I would't use the P/Ns being thrown around here. They likely would fit your application.
