Debussy and Ravel are my favourite composers and have been for many years now. The artist known as Tomita really got me into these visionary composers, electronically of course. Tomitas version of the Planets Suite by Gustav Holtz is exceptional. This analogue version by Ravel is beautifully expressed here. Thank you Regards Rob.

Eine sehr schöne Interpretation des Stücks - Getragener gespielt, als Ravel selbst es vielleicht gespielt hätte. Es passt wunderbar in die Stimmung eines beginnenden Herbstes.

And now for something completely different … Nun ja, passt nicht ganz hierher, aber trotzdem. Ich weiß nicht genau warum, aber irgendwie hat es mich an Olivier Messiaen erinnert, auch wenn Ravel eigentlich nicht zu seinen Einflüssen gezählt wird (aber ich bin weder Musiker noch irgendwie akademisch mit Musik beschäftigt). Ich hab's auf jeden Fall sehr genossen, gerne mehr davon!

We was awake. In one of the recording takes he walked on the piano, but I decided to use this one for the release. Usually he sits next to me on the bench when I practice.
