I'm never bored with your history lessons. Matter of fact their fucking fabulous. Shortened to simplicity but complex enough to give a far more open view of the subject that most schools can't/won't teach when it comes to history. Every single Hero's in History video has prompted me to look closer at a lot of not just the inspired warriors but the cultures and histories attached to them more in depth like. You're absolutely fantastic as a teacher, which given your past job as one gives prudence, but you're not a run of the mill kind. You have a flair and talent for making this stuff sound alive. Delete the hater comments and keep on going Raven. My best wishes and prayers are with you. ⚔❤

Something people tend to forget is its a game with its own story and its own lore , and while i feel they try to show respect for the people and cultures they are portraying , they have the right to deviate for gameplay and lore reasons ( i e making them female ) a mechanical example is the huge swings and telegraphs of most heroes, in real life those would be seen as horrible form. One thing that i did find interesting is the guard runs out of stamina fast if you keep swinging , while probably more of a balance thing it also lines up with the idea of “ getting tired due to the weight of there armor”

I think they should try to release one non-gender-locked character and one gender-locked character per year, maybe that way it'll be easier to suppress player complaints now, who will or won't be gender-locked is another story

gender locking the varangian guard was a weird choice. i understand that the reason they did was because they wanted you to imagine you were playing the specific character of Katla but at the same time she brought a bunch of members of the guard with her so you could easily make the varagian guard non-gender locked so that you could imagine you're playing as one of the members of the guard that came with Katla instead of Katla herself.

While the devs stated that Varangian speak Norse and Greek, the hero has atleast two lines in generic slavic languange! One is "Wracaj ty" (wich translates to "get back here") Varang shouts when they do a headbutt after unblockable lands. There was also one during staredown with enemy and after a dodge, but couldnt hear them well.

@ulfberht44319 ай бұрын
It’s all to do with Ubisoft wanting to keep “consistency” with releasing heroes. I find it bs since they’ve been very inconsistent in other years. In year 3 all but 1 hero were heavies. Then they release 2 knight heroes in year 4, only 1 samurai in year 5 and then all of a sudden start releasing a new faction for the next 2 years. Not very consistent.

People complaining about women being in these games haven’t seen female martial artists. Back in my karate days there was this woman. She was maybe 5 foot 4 and hit harder than the 6 foot 5 dude I usually got paired with. It’s all in the training. What’s in your pants doesn’t matter so long as it’s protected rofl.
@dontbothertoreply97554 ай бұрын
False, any woman I have faced is weaker than me, of course you have seen what happens when men fight women, stamina, intelligence, length, upper body strength, spacial awareness, adrenaline production, stress management etc, women should not fight against men they will be just free ammo and war brides for the enemy.
@thewhitewolf79099 ай бұрын
There is no reason they can't go back to change some heros. They do it all the time with their moveset and the assassin guards. They can go back and change astetics like the gender lock. They would just need a lot of time.
