Coming from a run first offense. They didn’t do Jack. Offensive line couldn’t hold the D. Purdy got crucified for taking too long. Receivers couldn’t catch all of a sudden. Wtf. But damn that ravens team is the best team in the nfl right now. I’d be surprised if they don’t go all the way. But every dog has his day. I've been to about 10 nfl stadiums. Pat always talks about the ravens "real" home field advantage. Of all the stadiums I've been to baltimore was probably the most rambunctious and the second loudest stadium I've been to. Yet it's never discussed nationally unless you talk to ex players. Teddy brusci also said it was one of the roughest places he played.

I've heard the announcers talk about it a couple times this year. Players like Tom Brady has said the same thing in interviews shown this year, it's definitely talked about. Especially after the noise caused one of the opponents to have a delay of game penalty because they couldn't hear the play. May have been Burrow? I forget, now.

Did we watch the same game? Bully? The 49ers ran on the Ravens at will. The 49ers defense held THEM to 102 yards of running, despite being on the field all day. That's the Ravens's strength, lol. The 49ers had 336 yards receiving & 102 yards rushing. They had their way with the Ravens Defense. What you saw was Kyle get outcoached like he does in big games & a second year QB make some bad decisions and a couple of fluke plays that ended in INTs. Lamar was gifted 4 INTs by his defense, he didn't "win".

The best clip is at 2:22 where Hamilton, blitzing from the nickel spot, is pancaked, with Banks laying on top of him (high-low penalty called on this block) but Hamilton gets up, runs across the field and snags the tip-drill-INT. This sequence should be mandatory viewing for every young player in the country to teach them about not giving up on a play and running to the ball.

9ers have always struggled against mobile QBs, also not great against the run in general. If you were going to create an offense designed to beat 49ers, it'd pretty much be the Ravens. I could be the only person to think this, but I was actually glad that they felt disrespected by all the analysts and the 5.5 underdog spread that was against them. Because they were able to prove on the field what they could do. When Lamar was drafted, everyone loved his play but when they needed to win the most (playoffs) they could not do it. Last night was a pissed off and angry team, which is what they needed to do. The injuries to Dobbins, Andrews, and even Mitchell forced this team to buckle down and make plays. They're winning the games that they NEED to win to put themselves in a better position. But watch when the playoffs come around, because the narrative will change when that happens.

Ravens should be undefeated. Those 3 loses were 4th qtr leads blown. But they may not have figured things out without the loses. Lamar has taken a giant leap this year, specifically after that 3rd loss with his pocket awareness. His ability to extend plays with a pass first mindset is keeping him healthy and making them unpredictable on offense.

I still believe in the 49ers. Teams get blown out and beat down. What if the Ravens get blown out next week? Then what? SF is good at making the Necessary adjustments This is a lesson we needed to get better. Hats off to Lamar. He is a NIGHTMARE for any team but he is not INVINCABLE. Lamar is a true freak, but the 9rs D held him in check as a runner. He had one 35 yd scamper, but Lamar's gonna Lamar. Overall, both D's played well. 5 turn overs to the Ravens is gonna be a REAL game blower! This was probably just the pregame SB warmup... But, regardless of your team preference (I like them both), if you didn't love this battle, you're not a football fan!

49ers didn't get bullied. The game was much closer than the final score shows. The tipped balls all landed in the Ravens hands, Brock Purdy hurt again, and Shanahan completely abandoning a top tier run game. After all that, the 49ers were a yard away from being within a score of tying the game with 3 minutes to go. The Ravens prevailed, but don't get carried away. If they meet in the Superbowl, the 49ers will win the rematch.

They abandoned a run game where they rushed for over 100yds and was averaging over 7yds per carry with an injured QB that didn't admit to his injury till the 4th Qtr after throwing 4 interceptions, 3 of which were tipped balls that all bounced in favor of the Ravens. FYI despite Purdy's interceptions, he still threw for more yardage than Lamar Jackson on less attempts and completions. I fully believe that if they face the Ravens in the Superbowl, they will demolish them.
