We'll continue from June 2006-2007 Draft with the next one. Raw was a bit odd after moving to USA. Mr McMahon was wilding the most, then you had Mickie James going crazy over Trish Stratus and Kurt Angle just saying random stuff trying to get cancelled. What did you think of Raw 05-06?

Some memorable moments for me in this era that I did know about with backstories that I didn’t know about. Stone Cold being booked to lose to The Coach? Come on. Also, thank God I never thought that there was actually a person named God. I heard that and that made me just go like what like Stone Cold always yells out asking.

Way better than WWE now of course. I just can't get into it anymore and I refuse to accept Roman as a goat. Y'all can believe in his legacy I won't. That guy is main eventing more Wrestlemanias in a row than Hogan, Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaker, Bret Hart, Shawn Michael's. No. He's over forced and pushed cause it was the plan for him to be the modern greatest of all time before he even got over. But Vince McMahon knew if you force something long enough eventually fans will have no choice and give in. To the point booing him became outdated... As for 2005-6 I don't see it as an odd time. A forgotten time yes. I was in 10th grade and it wasn't as cool anymore to talk about WWE out loud in class. Kids were like "you still watch that??" "I stopped watching since Austin and The Rock aren't there." It wasn't like in the Attitude era when everyone came into school talking about Raw last night and it was the "cool thing." kids were low key and embarrassed of WWE by then. I still watched and was a fan but I noticed a decline in popularity

Raw 2005-06 for the most part, balanced between entertaining, odd and crazy. On one hand, you witnessed the rise of Edge, that banger match between Shelton Benjamin and Shawn Michaels, Michaels' short-lived heel run, Triple H's return, and the long-term storytelling between Mickie James and Trish Stratus. On the other hand, you had Kurt Angle running wild, Viscera's love phase, Edge getting freaky with Lita the night after he won the title, and Mr.McMahon feuding with God ( Is there anything Vince won't do? 😂😂). So at the end of the day, you had a mix of everything: the good, the bad, and the bats**t crazy, but I guess that's wrestling for you.

John Cena was the MVP of 2005. After being the biggest rising star of SmackDown in 2004-2005. He won the title at WrestleMania 21 and he survived an I Quit match at Judgement Day. Then he got drafted to RAW in June and was the top star of that brand prior to the show moving back home to USA Network. 05-06 RAW saw the likes John Cena, Kurt Angle, Edge, Trish, Ashley (RIP), Carlito, Chris Masters, RVD, Kane, Big Show, HHH, and the voice of ECW Joey Styles. It was the debut of the Power is Back intro 😅

the Vince's devils storyline should have led to Torrie Wilson being the Raw GM . What sort of normal hot blooded man would want to miss an episode of Raw if Torrie was guaranteed to appear? I think Torrie would have been better utilised in that role. She wasnt exactly a good wrestler anyway but she was incredibly gorgeous though. And then in 2007 after her nasty injury in that match against Beth Phoenix, Candice Michelle would have then be added as co- Raw GM with Torrie . WHO the hell would miss monday night raw with these fly honeys appearing by wearing hot power coporate dress code that shows off enough of their assets and dictating to everybody on the show. I know I wouldnt wanna miss Raw.

Wrestling premier guy: 2005 was the year Chris Jericho walked away. me: he didn't walk away though what happened was in storyline Chris Jericho got fired what happened was Chris Jericho he had a match with John Cena and the loser of the match gets fired Eric Bischoff interfered and tried to hit John Cena and it backfired he missed and hit Jericho instead costing him the match and Jericho got fired being carried out the arena by security. Chris Jericho wasn't really fired though what actually happened was Jericho's contract had run out so Eric Bischoff had made the match between him and Cena as a way to get him off tv So Chris Jericho could go on tour for two years with his band Fozzy he came back two years later in 2007 and started a feud on "Raw" with Randy Orton.

you say so many throw-away lines that are so dumb and wrong that it's astounding lol "Angle said all that stuff to prove that no matter what he says, the fans still love him"? Angle's character was clearly saying those things because he was a *heel* . that's obvious.. and WWE felt he had to go to those extremes because he was getting babyface reactions and they didn't know how else to get the crowd to boo him. Similar to Stone Cold in 2001 on a lesser scale.
