Guide on Motivity: Motivity is a type in RawAccel. As it's a different type, the curve won't feel the same as NaturalGain (or any of the types), so you will need separate settings. The process to find your sensitivity is the same as described in the video, so there is no need for a separate one. However, most of the values have different names and impact different things, so a description of each is necessary to understand how Motivity works. Go into a scenario that focuses on small flicks (Tile Frenzy Mini) and set your midpoint really high (100000000+). The acceleration value will have no effect at a midpoint of 100000000 because the graph will be completely flat, meaning that there is no acceleration. So, set acceleration to a temporary value and test different motivity values until the sensitivity feels natural. Be aware that this value can still change; it is just your starting point. Afterwards, go into a scenario with wider spacing (Tile Frenzy, Gridshot) and fiddle with your acceleration and midpoint values. There is a more in-depth description of each setting below. It is normal for the Gain graph to look weird with Motivity. • Sens Multiplier: Set this as 1. • Rotation: Set this as 0. • Acceleration: Affects the rate at which your sensitivity increases. However, a lower value starts the acceleration sooner. The increase will still be less steep, but the base sensitivity will feel higher. So, an acceleration of 0.1 will feel faster than an acceleration of 1 with small mouse movements. Because of this, I don't recommend changing this like you would with NaturalGain; don't just lower it because your sensitivity feels too high. In fact, if your sensitivity is too high (for small flicks or tracking), you should raise the acceleration. • Acceleration TL;DR: higher value = lower base sensitivity, quicker increase • Motivity: The maximum sensitivity will be set at your motivity (though you will never hit the limit), and the minimum will be 1/motivity. So, a low motivity value will give a high base sensitivity (1/motivity) but a low maximum. Therefore, the "acceleration" will be less drastic as there will be less room to increase. On the other hand, a high motivity value will result in a low base but a higher, more abrupt increase. • Motivity TL;DR: higher value = lower base sensitivity, quicker increase, higher maximum • Midpoint: Start with 0 and work your way up (or stay at 0 if you like it). Works as a sort of offset. A low value will make the graph steeper and the acceleration feel more immediate, while a high value will do the opposite. With a very high value, the acceleration would be too gradual to notice. • Midpoint TL;DR: higher value = stay at base sensitivity for longer (offset) github.com/a1xd/rawaccel/blob/master/doc/Guide.md#motivity

what kind of acceleration type is the best? I mean, objectively there must be one. The most consistent or theoretically most efficient.
@avazed_3 жыл бұрын
I don't believe that there is one best type, as everyone has different preferences. Some prefer linear, some prefer a curved acceleration, and some prefer no acceleration. You can test out all of them if you're curious as to which one is best for you.

Sorry, but I don't think you can make acceleration zones as of version 1.4.4. I don't know if they will implement it in the future, but iirc the previous version (Povohat's Mouse Accel) didn't have it either, so it probably won't be added anytime soon.
