Tour Mag tested the Asian Strada ICR with Zipp 404 and it got 210w. Subtract 7w for the round bar it had and you get 203w, which is among the fastest bikes ever (Simplon Pride II is the most aero bike ever and it tests at 202w with zipp 404). So I wonder how the Italia compares. Because the Simplon has even deeper tubes and it's only 1w faster (same for the Storck Aerfast). If it's only 1w then I'm not sure it's worth it, because the deeper seatpost is probably less comfortable. I would have bought the Asian version already, but the 30mm WAM tire clearance is disappointing. My now-standard 28mm tires measure at 31mm WAM, and plus I ride on dirt roads sometimes, so I don't think it's enough. I don't know why the seat tube has to hug the tire so closely, I feel like the Specialized Shiv TT shows that it isn't all that necessary (especially behind a round water bottle). But the Italia is too expensive. So, I guess I'll wait another few years until they update the Asian version.

Really? I haven’t seen that. The Italia should be faster still, as it has deeper profiles throughout. The clearance is also much more generous.

It’s a 54, comes with a 420 bar and 100mm stem

thanks for the unboxing video. My order is still on delay as the mold for the size 58 is not jet ready for production. My frame build is first one in the queue :) I do understand that the production mold is over 100K€ so they first produce the mainstream sizes 54 and 56, but would have been nice to know this upfront. Ordered mine on 11th of April and most likely the frame will be produced end of September so by the time I can start riding it will be fall. In my mind I would next week be riding the Passo Del Rombo in Tirol, instead I will take my current Strada Custom build. Also great bike but it is like a child in the candy store :) looking forward to your build video.

Chinese carbon is still the best carbon. Winspace t1550 is 1600€. So,1/3 of the price. Build qualitiy is also better,100%

A b roll with zooms on the frame would be nice. Watching you from a distance look at bolts for five minutes isn't exactly great content
