That's a tricky question. There is no doubt that this can be done outside, but it really does depend on the temperature & humidity of your location. My grandmother used to dehydrate everything in her attic - since it was hot and dry up there... But, that was during the peak of summer & harvest time. You also have to be careful with bugs, mold & other contaminates. Hope that helps! God Bless! ~Erika

Good Question! Generally food can handle higher temps without much nutrient loss, since the moisture in the food itself acts as a cooling agent. Much like sweaty people on a hot day. =) So I typically dry my wet food at 125-135 degrees for the first hour and drop it to 115 degrees for the remaining time. I also live in a very humid environment, so you need to take that into consideration to avoid food spoilage. Hope that helps! God Bless! ~Erika

Lol... yes, I suppose I am! =) I love making KZbin videos, but as a Homeschool mama, the school year is often a busy time for us. Thanks for sticking around & for the patience while I work on more. God Bless! ~Erika

Hi! Just tried the soft bread. It Iooked done, but I think I didn't cook it long enough, but I like the taste very much. It rose to about an inch or so in the bread pan. Looked good. But it "shrank" after I removed it from the pan. Was this because of insufficient baking or would it happen anyway. I'm 85 and just developed Celiac!!!! Anxious to try so many of your recipes. It's a big challenge for me. I have always been an old-fashioned-cook-from-scratch cook. Will be trying this again, I hope with better luck. Anxious to try piecrust also.

No no no poor blender must work so hard why did you just cut in smaller pieces. Why must cleaning be a problem. So you tell me that apple sauce got no preserves in or sugar 🤔
