Thanks for checking this out! I’ve seen Southside and Bruce together several times and it’s always been a stellar experience. There’s a fun video of a song from the early 90’s with Southside and Bruce and the E Street Band called “Its Been a Long Time” that really was underrated in my opinion, I think you’ll enjoy it.

So young, so live, so amazing. Bruce and Southside, just a chorus of two fabulous entertainers. Great duet. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and John. So enjoyable. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

This is a fan video of a 1978 concert at Cleveland's Agora Theater and Bruce (with Clarence Clemons singing bass parts) was a surprise guest. "The Fever" was written for Southside by Bruce and appeared on Southside's debut album "I Don't Want to Go Home"(1976). I hope the besties enjoyed it despite the poor audio. Thanks, Harri!

Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes are such an insanely hot band, you need to hear more of their work. "I Don't Want to Go Home," "Broke Down Piece of Man," or "This Time Baby's Gone for Good" would be outstanding pieces for you.

Saw Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes in the 80's in Framingham, Massachusetts. Most fun I ever had at a concert. Suggestion below "I don't want to go home", "Havin' a party", "Hearts of stone", "It's been a long time", "I've been working too hard", "Trapped again". Much more!

If I'm not mistaken, Little Steven had to rush across town after Bruce's arena show in Cleveland in order to start Southside's show at the Agora as he was the guitar player for both bands. I can't quite understand how this would be possible unless the Jukes were going on very late but I've heard this.

Springsteen wrote this song. Southside has recorded a number of Springsteen's tunes. E Street's Steven Van Zant has worked a lot with Southside over the years. You can find Springsteen's version of this song, but I think Southside owns it.

This was AFTER Bruce and the E Street Band had done their full show and joined Southside at theirs. Bruce didn't release his version until Tracks. He gave it away to Southside who did a terrific version. I surely wish there was a better version of this out there.

I’ve been waiting for someone to do something with Southside Johnny. This is a bad audio it’s not their sound. Springsteen used to be part of Southside’s band and basically mimicked his band (the E Street Band) to Southside’s (the Asbury Jukes). Little Steven was in Southside’s band then left to be with Bruce. #southsidejohnny #thejukes

Bruce was never part of Southside Johnny’s band. Little Steven did work with Southside.

@@Bluesbabesrv Then I’m wrong but he did jam with them at the Stone Pony and he wrote at least 4 songs for them. Little Steven wrote several songs as well and played with the band for about 5 years

Its too bad Springsteen ruined this live performance, from a huge Southside Johnny & Asbury Jukes fan. Johnny outperforms Bruce in this era from someone who saw SSJ & Hikes at the Agora outside of Cleveland.

well- i hope we can all be honest here with our opinions, I NEVER could get into Springsteen. for some reason- i cant stand his singing.

From one of the boggest SSJ & Jukes fans, let me add, to my first comment below, this is by far the worst recording of "The Fever" I've ever heard.
