And I realize that we'll be dealing with alot of early passings throughout this series but I'd just like to pay respect to Brian. A guy who was truly CAPTIVATING, and a man who helped the wrestling business in a transition to realism. A guy who began to go against the grain, and developed a TRULY UNIQUE character that could have been revolutionary(more than he already was). I still remember the first time I saw him in ECW, and couldn't believe what I was seeing and was a fan instantly. Thank you Brian, for your little piece of this business you/we love and providing me entertainment. Anytime people talk about the transition to the "Attitude Era", you should be credited.

Cornette ranting about the current product and being nostalgic for the territories has been a recurrent on-camera segment in wrestling for 25 years. That's twice the lifespan WCW had.

I'm sorry but if Jim cornette had his way, the Attitude Era wouldn't have happened and we would have missed out on such great moments😱 Jim may be a wrestling genius when it comes to what he knows but he's not 100% correct all the time and he would have blown it big time if he was in charge of the Attitude Era because it wouldn't have happened with his type of thinking of what wrestling should be. Remember it's because of the Attitude Era, we then got the Ruthless Aggression era, which is also great

25 years is not twice as long as 70.... WCW was founded in 1931 as JCP (Jim Crockett Promotions). JCP was renamed World Championship Wrestling, which was the name previously used by it's flagship TV show on Turner station TBS, when Ted Turner purchased JCP from Crockett.
