Reliving The War takes a look at the WWF vs WCW "Monday Night Wars" where the WWF's Monday Night Raw show went head to head with WCW Monday Nitro. In this weekly video series, every match and promo gets looked at to see which show was truly the best.
The WWF is in South Africa this week. The Raw broadcast features matches from both Johannesburg and Muncie, Indiana - resulting in one of the more messy WWF Raw shows we've seen so far. The Legion of Doom take on The Godwinns in the States and Steve Austin also cuts a promo from Muncie, and over in South Africa we have matches including Rocky Maivia, Ahmed Johnson, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Goldust. This a go-home Raw show, the company presents "In Your House: Revenge of the Taker" later in the week.
On WCW Nitro, Lex Luger announces he wants to face Hogan for the World Championship and he wants that match tonight. Kevin Nash says if Lex wants Hogan, he has to go through Nash first - this results in a Kevin Nash vs Lex Luger match main eventing the show.
