Hey Yo. Reliving The War is early this week. I’m a few videos ahead of schedule, and I thought it would be more fitting to put out Reliving The War today to pay tribute to Scott Hall (rather than the other video that was originally getting uploaded). This video was recorded news broke about Scott’s passing, however the intro was added afterwards. The next episode (96) will be uploaded next Thursday (24th March). I’ll pay tribute to Scott in another separate video in the future.

Youre an absolute star, and postimg it early is a treat for us fans, and also a fitting nod to Scott Hall who played such a huge part of the Monday Night War, and wrestling history in general. Keep up the stella work lad, all the best.

Will there still be a New one on Thursday? PS: wie are coming pretty near to the first Nitro Episode I ever Watched. It must have been around end of Summer 97, after we moved and I got Like hundreds of New chanels. With TNT being one of Them every Friday at 9 PM German time until 0:30 11 old me was spending Friday nichts in Front of the Tele. I Hope I recognize the exact episode

When I was a kid following this all I really didn’t understand that Austin had been so badly injured. I figured the injury was real but that the stuff with Vince refusing to let him wrestle was exaggerated for storyline purposes. And yeah , the fact that he’s shown up here the next night is ridiculous. And it rightly wouldn’t happen today.

This is probably the Nitro episode I remember most fondly from my teens. Even though I'm not the biggest Luger fan, I won't deny that 15 year old me was delighted to see him take the title from Hogan. Also Scott Hall was one of my all time favourites, I was a huge fan of Razor during the early - mid 90s and got fully invested in the NWO storyline at this time, RIP Scott.

Do yourself a favor and go back and watch his matches, esp the ladders with michaels and the kilq tag match, Shawn and diesel vs hall and kid and also when he put kid over back in 1993. That stuff didn’t happen back then and it was a huge deal and it was Scott who put kid over and insisted on doing it so it shows u what kind of guy he really was, always super generous.

@serpicosghost Kurt Angle broke his neck in 1996 & after starting to Wrestle in 1998/9, he would keep going until 2018. So it kinda shows that had Austin got the injury fixed out immediately & healed up, then we could've seen Austin in matches until maybe 2006 or 2007

@@iDeathMaximuMIIthe injury also wasn't the main factor in Austin leaving, he's said he could have kept going but he wanted to go out before he ended up like so many other guys. He went out on top and can still walk back in on top, look at every pop he's received when he returns and the match he wrestled with Owens, he could still go and he probably will have a few more matches before he's done for good. Only reason he didn't come back for Mania again this year was because he was filming a new show.

Thanks a bunch for posting this a few days early. I think we all can agree that this helps us cope over this huge loss. I haven't been emotional for a wrestler's passing since Warrior. Even before that it was Owen. Deaths in wrestling are far too common, but this one really hurts. Seeing him first as the Diamond Studd, then with Razor watching him turn into a giant star was something I am grateful to grow up watching. Scott Hall is by far one of the most influential guys in all of wrestling. No one will ever match that charisma and machismo! RIP Scott Hall 4 LIFE!

This Raw was my first ever live wrestling event and it was the day after my 13th birthday! I even attended the event with my father, who sadly passed away just seven years later. Anyway, great review. You’re doing amazing work as always. Fun Fact: I believe this was the first and only time Raw was held in the Stabler Arena in Bethlehem as it only held 6,200 people. It was considered a small venue by WWE and relegated to then be used for only house shows. I saw several WWE house shows there during the 2000s, which included some matches like CM Punk in the ECW brand before they put him on TV and a great cage match between Cena and Angle that was PPV worthy. That ECW house show was one of the worst attended live shows I’ve ever been to, including a lot of the independent shows I’ve seen. Fun Fact #2: During a commercial break, when referees or whoever were helping Ahmed Johnson to the back after he got beat down by the NoD, some guy yelled out “Ahmed Johnson, you suck!” and although the crowd was very quiet, you got the feeling in the arena that everyone basically agreed with that guy.

This is insane. I am at 2:12, the guy at Nitro in the front row snapping pics with my throwaway camera. I was completely dedicated to NWO… my buddy next to me was always “Nash,” and I was “Hall.” We got front row tix for this show, which was in Auburn Hills at the Palace, and we ironically had tix directly next to a fake cosplay Hulk Hogan. We got spoiled with some pretty good tv bc of our positioning in seating, being right where the ring steps were used to enter. My dad was at the show, and said every time he looked up at the big screen, he saw me lol. I can’t believe I open KZbin and see this today. My heart hurts so badly over Scott Hall, as we both deal with very similar demons. I got out of detox/rehab this past Friday… the first worldly story I heard was a text from my “Nash” about Scott Hall on life support. This is just such a wild ride for me right now, and his death is hitting on high emotion. I thank you for this. God bless.

Can't believe how fast Scott Hall's health declined after his hip surgery. It's absolutely crazy to think about it. Scott was a damn good wrestler with tons of charisma and could get some of the loudest pops imaginable. He'll be sorely missed.

Oh God, Sean Waltman took the steel ring post hard to the chest at 10:40. I'm surprised he didn't get a broken sternum from that splash from Jeff Jarrett.

Since Sunday I've been depressed... Much more so than my diagnosis of MDD could describe. Scott was the guy who got me into the WWF in the early 90's, and has been my favorite wrestler ever since... Regardless of gimmick or company that employed him. I wanted to be like Razor when I was a kid, and Scott was a huge influence on my teenage years when he started the "Monday Night Wars"! I guess he meant more to me than I realised. Rest in peace, Chico... And condolences to your family, including Kevin... Whom I'm sure is absolutely devastated.

Better injury and bookings it never felt like Ahmed Johnson ever got a fair shake. Maybe he doesn’t become the big star but he should’ve been a solid mid carder
