Yes I miss colorful eye looks. They were SUCH a work of art, and made me feel so inspired. I feel like I'm the only one who does them anymore. And maybe that ages me, but to hell with it, that was how i showed my creative side. And as a mom, that was the thing i did for me. It was such a hobby. Now I feel like I'm stuck in a rut and everyone is doing such minimal looks now. I def do more of a dewy skin look now, but I just can't give up fun eyeshadow looks forever. I’m convinced those “expiration” dates are bogus. Unless something has an spf, vitamin C or doesn’t include preservatives, I use products that smell ok and have a good consistency as long as they don’t negatively impact me.

Yeah, I was using my vit c sparingly, so it lasted a while, but then one day I noticed it had turned yellowish, so binned it. You can usually tell by the smell if somethings off?

@@tinytaz6668 absolutely, smell and consistency will give it away… if both of those check out, I’ll continue using the product. The only things I throw out are SPF and vitamin C, because they lose efficacy and mascara because it becomes unsanitary. Everything else is all good 😁

Looking at the products she’s created with Jones Road are that of what she found to be the concept of “less is more” Miracle balm is truly ideal for dry textured skin. It is anything you’d like it to be . Based on the tone you choose a foundation/ moisturizer. Or tinted blush / eye shadow when going with a warmer shade. You have to warm it up before applying into skin to make it manageable. Using the pads of your finger tips and press/tap it onto your skin. Hope that helps ❤️

Your take on waterproof mascara is so mine as well! I have really dry eyes, so they tend to tear a lot (seems contradictory, I know). So non-waterproof just ends up all over the place on me, or disappearing. I will sometimes use a regular mascara, then top with waterproof, especially with Essence Lash Princess, because the waterproof version is sadly not good, but the regular one flakes too. But with waterproof on top, no more flakies, and my lashes look so, so good!

The miracle balm actually melts into my skin within a half hour and isn’t sticky at all after that, but it does leave my skin looking juicy and moisturized. 🤷‍♀️

I’m one of those sensitive skin people where any amount of fragrance and over scented products will definitely give me hives so I’m glad you talk about the fragrances of stuff. I’ve notice a lot of makeup is very heavily fragranced now a days and whilst it smells good, it can be super irritating for a lot of peoples skin so it always surprises me when it smells like straight perfume. Also, I lost it when you stuck the box to your face 😂 I can’t imagine wearing something that sticky, I’m definitely not the targeted audience for that balm with how oily my skin naturally gets. I’d be a melted popsicle within an hour.

@@evajawidzik2562 I have no clue honestly. It seems like a somewhat tinted moisturizer since it mentioned different shades but that is super sticky and greasy for an everyday moisturizer haha
