My daughter has terrible migraines, she is disabled from them. Sometimes she gets partial relief from using a 4% Lidocaine roll on or gel. I get the Walmart brand equate it's like five or six bucks. I like the roll on, just easy to use. . Apply it to the back of your neck behind your ears your temples you can even put some on your fingers and rub it into your scalp. It works really great it's just doesn't last forever. I have a nerve disease with a bad spasms and it can even knock them back a bit. Hey it's cheap and if you don't get a good result it's good for anybody's aches and pains I even put it on my daughter's 21 year old poodle's hips and lower back he loves it.

For some reason the first time I realized you were into decorating and setting up parties was that teaparty you did for your niece. And now seeing the wedding on Insta and all that, you were freaking MADE for this! I know, you are good at makeup, good at home decor, painting and all that, but you have such an EYE for this! Crazy! That bouquet of flowers!!!! Bcs I am talentless as F in these things! But I also get that you are stressed like hell from all of this. I am a good organizer, my work revolves around coordinating things and people and I am good at it but it drains me like no end, and I am always stressed. Omg I soooo get when you say you have to take advantage of the days when you feel okay and push through even if u know you’re gonna pay for it the next day. I finally found a neurologist that has actually found a combination of medication that work for me ( I’ve been dealing with cluster migraines for 15/16 yrs) I take qulipta 1 every day and sumatriptan for breakthrough pain if needed. Going if from 20 very painful days to maybe 5 is absolutely life changing for me, and if I do start to feel one coming on I take a sumatriptan right away and it usually goes completely away in 30 mins. I CAN NOT explain how this has improved every aspect of my life. I will say if u don’t have ins it’s like $4000 a month at some pharmacy. I went through a process with my dr and ins to get it covered and I’m totally grateful for it .

It definitely has to be stress related. My therapist told me that the body can’t tell between “good” stress (like vacations or looking forward to something) versus “bad” stress (shit is hitting the fan) You’re an inspiration on resilience! Such a good video.

I live with episodic migraines and in the month leading up to starting nursing school, I got 14 migraines in 20 days. Hell yeah, brain, thanks a lot lol. I called my mom crying at 9am on the 14th day because I was so defeated. Solidarity, Kristi. Planning and executing are totally different when it comes to stress! I've planned, executed, and cleaned up after multiple fund raisers and a wedding. The amount of stress is unreal, and when you suffer from chronic pain, there's no doing anything when your event is over. You have all my prayers and positive energy heading your way that you can finish everything, without any more pain, and enjoy the wedding❤. I do have a question though... do you have a pain management Dr in your med team? If not, I highly recommend getting into one. Try to find a clinic that has multiple specialties within it, like rheumatology, orthopedics, neurosurgeon, neurology. While they can't "cure" the issues causing the pain, they can help with alternative treatments.
